Project 80 is a group of high school students who are attempting to show how research is relevant in our everyday lives. We use information directly from experiments and journals (Tier 1, Science & Nature) to educate the public about research advances in science, and attempt to show how research is relevant in our everyday lives.

Customer Reviews

Great to see high schoolers involved with science outreach!

It was really neat to see high school students discussing important topics and digging into primary research. Also, most science podcasts are 30 mintues or more, it is nice to get a quick summary of a current hot topic in this shorter format. The students did a great job of being engaging. I hope they release another episode soon!

"Higher" Education?

Ok, you can tell even from the title that these guys are going keep things understated. The story of the suppression of research is particularly gnawing; Whenever research is suppressed, there's virtually only one reason: People are trying to feed you their uninformed perspective without allowing reasoned rebuttal.

Great use of storytelling! It's very interesting to watch this group develop.
