Description

"What do Quakers believe?" It's a hard question for a lot of Quakers to answer, but we're going to try. We'll talk about beliefs early Quakers took for granted and how modern Quakers unite with or deviate from them. Hopefully, listeners will learn to appreciate the variety found in Quakerism and the religious roots of so many of our "pecularities."

Episode 1

A very wonderful and thought provoking discussion about Quaker beliefs and theology. I recommend this pod cast for anyone wanting to learn more about Quakers or the Quaker faith.

Insightful podcast

An easy to listen to, insightful discussion of Quaker faith and practice. I appreciate the different topics the hosts cover and the systematic way they do it. For anyone who wants a taste of Quakerism.

Okay...but

I've been a regular listening to this podcast. While I have learned some thing about Quakers, it seems that the discussion has been focused on explaining what Quakerism is in the context of other Christian denominations. Rather than explaining why Quakers don't practice the rituals of Catholics, Baptists, etc., I would prefer they speak to core Quaker beliefs with the occasional comparison to other beliefs. J
