Headspace makes me a better person!
The headspace app/podcasts combo helps me stay focused, aware, present and compassionate. I am a preschool teacher so it's very important for me to be all of those things.
The podcasts are great to listen to while I'm driving to work, sitting in traffic, waiting at the DMV, etc. They are super convenient and packed with great, useful information.
Thank you, Andy! :)
I have been trying to get started meditating for years. Never had the discipline. This app provides structure, training and motivation. I LOVE it. Great art direction and illustration style in the little videos as well. Andy as the narrator and guide is great, and his British accent is a treat for an American. Thank-you Andy!
Podcast Unrelated To Meditation
I love Headspace.Com!!! It has completely changed my life - I’m nearly done with the original Headspace Journey having started it almost two years ago. It’s to the point where it is a daily habit for at least 20 minutes, and I think about being mindful a lot more time than that. (Didn’t used to, but everything worthwhile takes time.)
That said, I started “binge listening” to Radio Headspace this week and I’m almost done with the original 12 episodes. I am trying, but I truly cannot see how it is even remotely related to meditation. There are inspirational moments, but meditation as a whole is extremely undersold and barely even mentioned. I expected a lot more insight into what mindfulness is about rather than learning that I should be running from Canada to Mexico or colonizing Mars.
I’d like to do those things, don’t get me wrong, but if I’d heard this podcast before learning about what Andy teaches, I wouldn’t be here today.
