Great new find!

This podcast by women and about women is very well done. In this episode, Autumn and Kendra each share a non-fiction and fiction book that helped shape their thinking. Sometimes book reviews can be a little boring. However, I don't think you'll find that to be the case with these two. They obviously know their topic well and are able to share that knowledge in an interesting and many times in a humorous way. I am already looking forward to episode 2.

Reading Women is Perfect for Non-leisure Readers

I really enjoyed this podcast, mainly because I am not a big reader. I do not have/make the time to sit down and read for hours. But topics, such as feminism, really interest me. So to be able to listen to two intelligent women who are both very knowledgable about books is the ideal way for me to learn new things without spending hours struggling to keep my attention to a book. They get to the point of each book and they make the books interesting. The summaries are excellent. It is perfect for those of us who are not avid readers. I am looking forward to the next episode!

Intelligent, not dry; charming, not histrionic

I found the hosts charming and conversational. You can really tell that these women are close friends who read critically and share whatever they're reading excitedly. I especially appreciated that they related how significant fiction has been in shaping their identities. If you're looking for a podcast featuring intelligent women who love reading and talking about books rather than dryly dissecting them, then this is for you.
