Great Anime & Gaming cast with likeable hosts.

Since this is now a Anime and Gaming podcast thathave different hosts (except one guy) I'll review each accordingly.

Gaming RetroCast.
I'm not into the gaming community too much so I can't go in depth about everything but I really like the this cast and they are the only gaming podcast I still listen to.
The hosts are good and even if I've never played a game they talk about its still really fun to hear their opinions.
They cover a lot of different genres each episode which keeps it fresh and each episode feels meaningful (which isn't required in a podcast obviously but I like it)

There's a lot of retro games I haven't played and whenever I listen to them I always feel like going back and playing what I missed. Plus they help me sort out the good from the bad ;D

Sound quality is really good and definitly sounds way better or just as good as most podcasts I listen to which is a LOT.

Its a short review but definitly recommend this cast even if you are in or out of the community.

Retro Weeb Cast.
Unlike the gaming community, I'm heavily into the wonderful world of Animu and can say this is my 2nd favorite podcast that talks about/reviews Anime. plus this podcast is consistent and won't go 5 months without posting anything :D!

Each host is very diverse in taste which creates some very interesting discussion and I really appericate that they take the time to talk about topics that most AnimeCasts dance around, skip in fear of offending someone or just say "nah you don't wanna hear us talk about that" which annoys me.

It doesn't sound scriped or edited to hell, you can tell the conversation feels genuine which I really appreciate since they don't sound so robotish.
They also all have different views about certain Anime and will disagree about things, but are able to clearly state their opinion without having flame wars or circlejerk about how an Anime is flawless.

I may disagree with something they say but I don't feel attacked, and since they give clear reasons why they like/dislike something I can understand their thought process way better which lets me be able to respect their opinion even if they hate or love something I don't.
Its also really nice they talk about what they know and don't start whole conversations about something they don't comprehend, that triggers me a lot when people do that lol.

Just like the GamingCast the sound is good, they cover a lot of different genres and topics which keeps it from feeling like "just another podcast episode"

Definitly recommend this cast to people that want funny and insightful conversations that feel fresh.

And I like how both Gaming and Anime communites are under one podcast :P

Great Podcast!

JD is a great guy and a great host and never fails to put on an excellent podcast. From Gaming to Anime to Wrestling he really knows his stuff and you would be remiss to not subscribe and give it a listen.

Love listening to all of this cast at night after my kids go to sleep and it is all me time. The few hours I get to spend is great and always look forward to it almost every day.
