The Retro Rewind Podcast is hosted by Francisco Ruiz, Paul Powers, and a rotating guest host. We take a fresh look at movies and video games from 15 or more years ago—discussing and reviewing them as Classics, Nostalgics, or Tragics. Prepare for an entertaining, clean show (except for the occasional potty humor) that dives into the nostalgia of adults that grew up in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and whether or not the movies/games we enjoyed as kids are still worth revisiting today. If you enjoy looking back at media from childhood, and want to be a part of the conversation, listen to the Retro Rewind podcast and send us feedback at

A new classic

Fun, informative, and nostalgic. A must listen if you like movies and games from the past.

Why Do We Need Another Movie Commentary Show?

Let's face it, there's almost as many movie commentary podcasts out there as there are podcasters. So why listen to this one?
1. The Rating System - RRP has the best rating system out there for older films. It is fair, and psychologically pleasing.
2. Fun - The hosts and guest host are extremely fun to listen to.
3. Heart - The show has a ton of heart. Hosts frequently disagree, but do so well.
The show always puts a smile on my face, and has introduced me to some forgotten gems I've somehow missed.

It's like hanging with your friends

This is such a great podcast. Each episode feels like you're sitting at a table with your best friends talking about the movies and games that you love and hated. They do a great job of keeping things relatable, encouraging, and fun! I'll have to rate this podcat as Classic
