Insight into a competitive runner’s mind

I started following the Roots Running Project several months ago because I know one of the members of the training group. As a post-collegiate runner myself (though to a much lesser degree than Noah and Alia), I was pleased to find a podcast dedicated to elite runners, their training and their thought process as they face greater competitive challenges. Richey and the two athletes clearly demonstrate a good chemistry and the conversations are interesting and engaging. Additionally, I think what they discuss, on a more philosophical level, can help young runners recognize that highly competitive runners can and do go through the same struggles as most other runners. I’ve even experienced many similar feelings myself. I look forward to future episodes of this podcast and wish the members of the Roots Running Project the best going forward.

Great Podcast

So far so good (2 episodes in). I hope they keep up the momentum on the podcast (and otherwise) so we can keep following Alia and Noah's progress going forward

Filling a gap in the podcast world!

Informative, entertaining, inspirational, and insightful....all qualities embodied in this first episode! The format of storytelling, Q & A, and nuggets of wisdom from past experiences was really clear and easy to follow along with- not to mention the crisp sound quality. Alia, Noah, and Richey are wise and personable people who I could listen to for hours!

A podcast that follows elite runners as they pursue athletics at the next level is something that I've been waiting for. Reading athletes' blogs and following them on Instagram, etc. is all well and good but there's something about the podcast medium that allows for more meaningful content. Thanks for filling this gap! I'm really looking forward to hearing what's in store next!
