If you want to listen to a (stoned?) person begging for interaction in her social media, this is for you. If you want to listen to someone talk more about herself and her cat than the person she's actually interviewing (shamefully WITH the person she's interviewing) this is for you. Her desperate pleas for interaction (i.e. Please post on my instagram!!) and attention are embarrassing. This podcast has no substance and I don't know why she feels like she is a person people would want to come to for running advice?

Waste of time

I have no idea what her expertise is in running but this was not useful. I am a runner and was just searching for running podcasts. This one offered me nothing. Also her speech is hard to listen too... Too much "um" and "like" to take her seriously. Just wasted my time listening to jumbled jibberish.

Hard to Take This Person Seriously

So I used to follow this girls blog, and it got pretty boring after a while - just cats and attempted humor. However, when she came out with a podcast I thought I would give it a try. I figured she might be interviewing actual dedicated runners. However, listening was pretty much a waste of time. Firstly, its really hard to follow the girl. She doesn't speak in a natural fluent way. Its like a fake overthinking broken-up type speach, with long pauses between words. She definently needs to work on being more natural and smooth in her speech. Also, its pretty much a spin off of her blog. She narcissictically calls herself "monican" and everything she does "monican" which is weird and kind of immature and off putting. So the jist of the show is talking about how Monican is just so "quirky and funny" - notice the quotations. Its really hard to relate to her. She really needs to learn how to relate to people better and get outside her cats/sunglasses/self centered life and focus on the people shes interviewing. She has potential - only because she has a decent following. I really wish she would work on herself so she can relate to her listeners better. I gave it a chance, but wont be listening again. You have been warned.
