“ECS” get a GRIP!

Here are a few of her quotes - “I am not going to drive to Carlsbad no matter how good the sushi is” “Why doesn’t everyone just have a boat??” Supposed to know about SD but yet has “never heard of”many known spots. She ruins the podcast with her arrogance and lack of knowledge of SD. Her biggest problem is Balboa Park doesn’t have enough restaurants. Give David your mic please!

Tentative Five Stars

On the most recent episode, I heard that valley girl is leaving. So the five stars is in advance of how the show is bound to improve once that happens.

Nice that they’re finally recognizing that eater exists.

Unsubscribed twice now

Wanted to love the pod so much. And there’s a lot to like. But when they flippantly covered depression after Bourdain’s passing (Troy led the way with his self-centered, oblivious rant) I had to walk away. Then I tried it again when exciting news hit about a new La Mesa operation from the Cohn group - but the crew managed to try covering it without even knowing where it will be located (and laughing about having no knowledge of the La Mesa area). Adios y’all.
