Wonderful! From a radio geek...

Wonderful! I've been a radio geek since I was a kid. After the Sonics' broadcasts on KIRO they'd play 'The CBS Mystery Theater,' and I'd lay in bed and get freaked out by it before falling off. A lot of the podcasts I subscribe to are OTR related, and I even listen to the old shows on KIXI when I have a chance (Bogie and Bacall in 'Bold Venture' is a favorite--'Markhiem' echos its overall tone in ways). Only critical observations: 1) perfect length for a recreation of a night at the theater, but a bit long for a podcast. It held my attention, but I'm a junkie with friends in the cast. But there's lots of material there, and it's all really good. Enough for three good meals, if one doesn't feel like feasting on the whole Magilla at once. 2) A little more Ragtime never hurt anything.

Very cool!

What a great opportunity for those of us not in the Seattle area to hear what's being created by the talented writers and actors there. The live "radio" performance is a cool idea. Looking forward to future episodes!

Great Live Variety Show

Ever wonder what it must have been like to listen to the first broadcast of "A Prairie Home Companion?" Well, it must have been a lot like this; wonderful writers, talented performers, and just enough rawness to remind you that you're hearing it live, as it happened. The solid material is wide-ranging, from the wry to the metaphysical. The lively cast is just as varied, whether they're lending their talents to short-form radio dramas, pitching in to carry a tune, or giving voice to the humorous comercial interludes. I thoroughly enjoyed it and eagerly anticipate the next installment.
