Say Why To Drugs

To listen to an audio podcast, mouse over the title and click Play. Open iTunes to download and subscribe to podcasts.

The internet is full of misinformation about recreational drugs - both legal and illegal. Dr Suzi Gage, a psychologist interested in understanding associations between substance use and mental health, tackles one substance per episode - providing information about what we know - the harms, but also potential benefits of these substances. There's no hype, no spin and no judgement, just information. In the first series, she is in conversation with rapper Scroobius Pip.

Customer Reviews

Informative and unbiased

I appreciate the straightforward, scientific outlook of Dr. Suzu Gage. Scroobius Pip’s anecdotes are insightful as well. I think people could benefit from listening to these facts and learning information in an unbiased way.

Love the show

When might/will we get any new episodes

The episodes cover some information you can’t find on Wikipedia but frankly brings very little special, a lot of the drugs haven’t been tried by anyone speaking in the experience and because of that they are limited in facet of connecting facts and experiences, would be nice to have different guests who could attest to differences between substances that they compare as similar
