Excellent brain food

Occasionally I want to listen to a podcast that's more meaty than essentially storytelling (Storycorps), but I also don't love listening to monologues/lectures (i.e., Ted talks). No Jargon fills this gap, providing conversational substance with experts in various fields. Avi Green asks basic questions so I don't have to, leaving me feeling just a bit more informed about important topics. Highly recommended!

Smart and timely

This podcast covers some of the most important issues, and it discusses each in a deep and approachable way. There is something very pleasant about hearing folks who really know what they are talking about. That clarity is especially important because there is often so much confusion (created) around these topics!

No Jargon — for real.

The goal of this podcast is to share research findings on politics and policy from researchers at universities across the U.S. — without any academic mumbo-jumbo. So far, so good. Each episode is about 20-25 minutes long, and the topics are good.
