Very thought provoking and interesting podcast

If you are interested in philosophical topics and like SciFi, you're almost certainly going to enjoy these podcasts. Jason is clearly educated on the subjects he discusses and I think he tries to explore both sides of a typical point of contention, albeit with his own side painted in the more positive light. That's no really any sort of problem though; who when arguing a point does NOT argue their own side better? What I think is probably the most interesting is how a small mention of a topic in a movie, book, TV show, etc, can spark a show topic that goes on for 20 to 30 minutes, exploring deep philosophical questions, which can then keep you thinking on them for hours. Good job Jason; I'm glad I'm subscribed.

Accessible to all

I think the best thing about this podcast is that Jason Rennie doesn't assume any academic knowledge of philosphy. This makes the show accessible to anyone who enjoys thinking about the deeper meaning of science fiction. He does a good job of introducing philosophical ideas and recently has had some excellent interviews. I highly recommend going to the discussion forums because they are small and free from the jargon and showboating one usually finds on philosphically oriented forums.

More than I bargained for.

I thought I was going to get a discusion about sci fi plots and writing processes. What I got was the most inteligent, fair and civil discusion about religion that I have ever heard. I also found out about an author that I did not know about and am exited to read. Thank You!
