Ths podcast does a decent job of presenting scientific research, but a poor job of interpreting it. For example, on the "Male/Female Brain" episode it is discussed that there are clear physical differences between the male and female brains, but the conclusion that the hosts give is that science is "unsure" is male/female brains are truly different (?). This show reminds me of mainstream news articles that try to report on scientific studies but miss the mark of how a real scientist would interpret data.
Like the concept but
I like the concept but the execution is not the best. The podcasters bias appears in a couple of the more controversial episodes. Minimizes facts in certain episodes that don't agree with their agenda and will use opionions from their experts and portray them as factul. The ones that were most obvious were the female brain and the pornography episode. That being said, they are asking good questions and I like the topics that are being investigated.
Looking forward to more episodes
So far quite entertaining. Pseudoscience and preconceived assumptions being put to the test.
