Seasons of Skyrend is a custom 5th edition D&D adventure that focuses on the stories of our characters as they try to survive in the world around them. The year is 164 A.T. The fifth age has been marked by recovery and rebuilding efforts since a great global catastrophe commonly referred to as The Turn. Cities fell, rivers were rerouted, and mountains came crashing down as whole continents were shaken to the bedrock. Our players begin in the city of Karami. The city lies on the central peninsula on the continent of Carricar. Karami fared better than most cities after The Turn. Like most of the continent, Karami lies in a state of perpetual autumn. Because of where it lies, the city also has much more night than day. Our story begins in The Bard’s Rest, a tavern on the west side of the city. Where we go from there all depends on the choices our players make.

Fun World, Even Funner People

The world of Skyrend is a left-of-normal Dungeons and Dragons setting with lots of fun twists. Scott, Shannon, Chris, and Nate weave a wonderful tale, full creepy home brew monsters, hilarious blunders, and unexpected choices. They have so much fun week to week it's infectious!

Great job! Fantastic Podcast!

Love the show. Great job. You guys are all about rolling natural ones huh? Makes for interesting scenarios. Good world/Good Roll play. You are all truly Seasons of SkyFriends! Congrats on the baby. It’s sweet to hear baby in the background. I look forward to hearing more and I encourage everyone to give this a listen.

A Smooth, and Professional Ride

From the moment the episode started, I was smiling. I was so shocked there are so few characters, but this does nothing to harm the product. If anything, I can see that it would make you care more about all of the players.
I'm incredibly impressed even from the start of the series by the lack of "ums," "likes," and "uhs." If this was due to editing, it's really smooth. This is a huge pet peeve of mine and one I constantly catch myself doing, but the fact that there is no issue with this here makes this sound very professional.
I love the Bard. It's great to see women in these podcasts taking a lead in conversations and really having strength of character. She can have an attitude and I love it!
Only thing I'd say so far from what I've heard is that you don't have to worry too much about cutting out laughter among the group. In most cases, it makes perfect sense and I find it endearing and it's good to see that these friends are having fun together.
I'd also love to have a bit more background music. The opening theme makes me so happy and energized, it would be great to have that musical elation throughout! It also helps separate scenes and tone.
