Everyone thinks that in order to get what they want out of life, they have to change everything on the outside; a new car, your body, more money. But what you really need to do is to change your insides. Session Lessons is giving you an inside look into how individuals have used psychotherapy to get the lives that they want.

I stumbled upon Josh’s podcast months ago while in pursuing the ability to listen in on a “successful” therapy session so as to compare it to my own experience with therapy. Immediately after binge listening the available episodes it was confirmed—I needed to find a better therapist.
After allowing the client to discuss what is on their mind and recent impactful events in their life he skillfully takes a step back with them and together contemplates what those thoughts, feelings, and actions mean and how they can be potentially harmful or beneficial.
I’m gonna end this review short so I can get back to listening to this latest episode but just wanted to say ‘thanks Josh’ for making this available and allowing others to see the real benefits of therapy!
I’m really happy this is out there. This is great for people who are on the fence about therapy or don’t quite know what therapy is all about.
This is a fantastic exploration into therapy and the disarming of the myths and obstacles that hold us back from receiving the guidance we need. A great way to see behind the curtain of psychology and all we have to benefit from it and where to get it.
