It’s a radically gentle podcast about sex and relationships. We’ve noticed a widespread hunger for ways to navigate conversations about gender complexity, alternatives to monogamy, and other things that transcend norms, but outside of queer circles it can be difficult to find a starting point. Our podcast meets that need by holding a safe, playful, and accessible space for conversations that are often difficult to have, creating bridges between queer ideas and those who may not yet know or love them

This is great.
Radical, Accessible, Important
One of the most important podcasts out there today. This smart, funny, open dialogue on sex and sexuality is surprisingly radical, but so vital to having an actually healthy society. Steph & Dave make taboo topics accessible, difficult conversations possible, and complicated issues personally meaningful.
One episode will change the conversations you have in your everyday life with all those you love or could love - isn’t that the point?
Change the Way You Think About Sex
I was one of those kids who got teased on the school playground because I didn't know anything about sex, and since then, I'd been a little uncomfortable talking about it. So you might imagine that I didn't know if "Sex for Smart People*" would be for me.
I could not have been more wrong. This podcast has been a huge eye-opener for me. Dave and Stephanie's calm and thoughtful discussions of issues surrounding sex have opened my eyes to new ways to think about sex - and new ways to talk about it. Their interviews with thought-leaders in different flelds have inspired me to understand the societal pressures that exist surrounding sex in the 21st century and to examine my own prejudices. Most importantly, their podcast has allowed me a comfortability around the topic that I never had before.
I cannot recommend this podcast more. I look forward to more episodes (and mroe insights) from Dave and Stephanie in the coming years.
