Description

Catholic priest, TV & Radio Host, Best Selling Author, Former Martial Arts Instructor, award winning Break Dancer & Choreographer, and also professional chef (who won Food Network competition, "Throw Down with Bobby Flay" Season 7 Episode 1), talks with unique and interesting guests from all walks of life - drawing out connections to help bridge social divides. You may not expect what two completely different peoplehave in common, but this show will bring people to a better understanding of how we're all connected. We may not always agree, but we still have to learn how to live with each other, and have some fun in the process, even if it's just a casual opportunity to "Shoot the Shiitake!"

Pointless Podcast-Save time, don't subscribe!

Highly disappointed in this podcast. A follower of Fr. Leo for a long time who read his books and catches his shows when I can and even follow on social media, attended numerous events and this is not what was advertised! There is no direction to the show, no theme. A theme is described but Fr. Leo doesn't hold true to that except in very few episodes. And those episodes are questionable to to his knowledge of the Church's teachings!!! We all should be loving to one another but he cannot support some things he flat out does in his position. The rest of his shows are like listening to a conversation unaware of the inside joke? Like his interview with a Hungarian Monarchist or a Q & A on a cruise ship? What does that have to do with the description? It's not honest and raw or about building bridges. It doesn't welcome people in who are behind churches walls. There is no conversion, if there is, it sounds like Fr. Leo is converting AWAY from the Catholic faith! If anyone interviewed was away from the faith, they were of another denomination that they deeply believed in and showed more conviction in their beliefs than the priest host!
Overall based on entertainment the show is downright boring! A huge fail for Fr. Leo! A great idea when described but it's not something on can listen to for nearly an hour each week. I feel bad he hasn't seen it or no advisors or listeners are telling the truth to him on the shows content or lack there of.
And as for being a supporter, the extra content? NOTHING special! Nothing worth $10 a month for if you were lucky to give only that! The extra content is just as bad, just as boring and it is disturbing it goes against all teachings of the Catholic church that Fr. Leo used to be so great at explaining. Unsubscribing!

Father Leo is amazing!

I grew up with Father Leo when he was a young(er) priest and his Homilies still stick in my head after all these years. He connects language to the heart which lingers after Mass. I personally love his passion for food. After all, Jesus showed himself in real divine food and drink. Thank you Father Leo for all you've done and given us!

Love it!

Great new podcast. Funny and very informative. Fr. Leo is a gift to us.
