It just weighs more in China’s higher education admission process than what SAT weighs in US’s higher education system. In this way it’s more like LSAT for law schools than SAT for colleges. We get our jobs similar ways like Americans, through family connections, individual capabilities, wealth, luck, and nepotism. It’s amazing how preposterous an imagine some Americans assign to China. I’m not arguing China is ideologically or culturally advanced, but China is also not a wonderland.
