A refreshing look into the heart of a therapist
I enjoyed listening to these shows even more than I expected. Normally in therapy psychotherapists rarely disclose personal details to their patients on the couch, which makes this series a special treat! It was so refreshing hear the humanity in the therapists interviewed on "Shrink on the Couch," and their openness and vulnerability made them super relatable. I sensed I could really feel their love and concern for their patients/clients and inspired me to examine some really painful areas inside myself.
I look forward to more episodes!
Gives good insight into the psychotherapy process.
These podcasts are upbeat, inspiring, full of compassion for those who suffer emotional pain (most everyone) and solid hope in what therapy can do. An uplifting and interesting way to spend 30-40 minutes.
