Awesome

If you love radio lab, you'll love this insightful series dissecting everyday issues through philosophy, science and everyday stories.

This podcast caused metacognition

Interesting look at the nature of causal thinking, and application to teaching and learning. I'm still wondering if we have an innate system/mechanism actually devoted to cause and effect thinking, or if what's innate is a more general learning system/mechanism with cause and effect thinking emerging from it (based on experience in the environment). In other words, are we "hard wired" for cause and effect, or are we "hard wired" for general learning and cause and effect thinking emerges as a result of learning (as opposed to development)?

I really liked the approach of analyzing teachers' experiences through the lens of cause and effect, and how their thinking evolved about their students (and themselves) over time. Cause and effect turned inward!

Great show!

A great and insightful podcast show for those looking for answers to some of life's deeper questions.
