Skillet is a podcast about food and memory. We go into the kitchens of grandmas, chefs, farmers, activists, and anyone who stirs the pot. As dinner simmers on the stovetop, we explore equity and identity by looking back on life’s struggles and triumphs. Let’s cook together and listen to each other.

Food is everything
The stories are poignant. The hosts are sensitive, real & get to the heart of the matter. Food can be one of the most important catalysts for change & personal growth. The stories are comforting, much like food is at times.
Yay for food and rich stories
I love the audio from inside people’s kitchens. I love getting to know these vibrant personalities. Stimulating content. Great production, a joy to listen to. So happy these two talented radio journalists are doing this and bringing these stories to the world. I only wish i could taste the food being cooked during each episode.
Beautiful exchange of food and stories
This podcast completely captures what happens when people show empathy and curiosity while learning about others traditions. I’m always amazed at the stories guests end up sharing with the hosts. So good!
