The way beauty kills, you'd think everyone was here to save you

I came across Sole in 2005, an iconoclastic 18 year old kid who'd always slid by on wit and never delved beneath the surface of anything. His early-2000s albums were not only seminal infuences on my thought themselves, but also the catalyst for what became a lifelong fire-in-the-gut for radical philosophy, literature, and politics. No one with any less passion and integrity than Sole could have inspired such a chain of events just by forcing me to look up some friggin word "Détournement" from a song title.

The Solecast is a very welcome extenstion of this same intensity into a different medium. Thank you, Tim Holland. There's no one I'd rather be lost in a perpetual present with.
