Worth your time!!
Ian provides valuable insight for any productive individual. Although the content is skewed towards entrepreneurs and solo-productive types, the subject matter is broadly applicable to anyone who has stuff to get done. If you have an interest in being introspective about your processes & relative success, this podcast is well worth your time & the space on your device. In addition, the ultra-pleasantness of Ian’s voice may have you tuning in just to soothe your nerves. For many of us “busy” has been bumped off by frantic, and “multi-tasking” is reaching the height of the pendulum swing...it’s time to take a 30,000 foot view of the what, why and how of our processes- and using historical insight, add thoughtfulness to our path going forward. You’ll be glad you found this podcast.
More useful than I thought it would be
I listen to lots of podcasts to try and get a nice cross section of peoples opinions and thoughts of the world today. I gave Ian’s a try just to see what he had to say. I figured, like most podcasts, I would say thanks and move on after hearing the first episode.
I mean, At first really felt like this podcast had nothing to give me. With me being part of a corporate machine and ultimately being part of what “management” wants me to be, what in the world would I get out of this? Actually, quite a lot.
I’m getting the sense that I can leverage some of his perspective as an individual, and use it in my job. As a salaried professional in my corporation, I have the ability to act more independent and self directed than let’s say, a hourly employee in a factory. The factory employee my not use some of the topics Ian covers in their job, but even then; they might be able to use them in their personal life or hobbies.
Bottom line? I can’t wait for more episodes, so keep them coming!
I have never really thought about productivity before. Obviously Ian has. A great deal. Listen, enjoy, learn, and spend all the free time you regain doing something fun.
