Customer Reviews

A Must

Brian's interviews a wide range of emerging and established artists working in a wide array of media. The interviews are smart, laid back, and fun. Keep it going Brian!

Insightful and diverse

The interviews are insightful but not pretentious. This podcast is great for students learning about how artists have become integrated into the art world, and for artists wanting to get to know each others' stories. I love the interview with Shara Hughes and of course Helen O'Leary!

Great studio listening

This may sound funny but I find listening to other artists talk about themselves both intriguing & boring. Intriguing because I learn about how folks go about making artwork & the thoughts humming around that & some everyday facts about their lives. Boring because sometimes they’re not unlike me or they discuss the more mundane. I like to listen when I’m doing busy work in the studio. Brian’s voice is gentle & easy to listen to & he has an experienced & often poetic take on things. An enjoyable escape.
