Description

Welcome to the Sow Edible Permaculture Farm Podcast. Join our family as we build our permaculture self-sufficient farm and off grid house. With nature as our example, we are shaping the farm with edible food forests, perennials, hugelkulture beds, swales, and keyline water systems. We share our experience in beekeeping and animal husbandry where we pasture raise ducks, chickens, and pigs through the use of rotational grazing and all natural care. As first time farmers, we are learning how to work the land without pesticides, using heirloom plants, and beyond organic gardening techniques. We hope that you will join our family as we embark on this adventure together.

Customer Reviews

Informative and Interesting

Great format and content!

Beautiful Journey

These two are as cute as Andy and Kelly on Chicken Thistle Farm Coop Cast! Personable on air. If you enjoy listening to others go through their small farm journey you will love this podcast. I listen to these podcasts while on break at work or when I am gardening at my new house.

Fun and Informative

I love listening to Amy and Stacy on the Sow Edible podcast. They are funny, bright and have such sparkling personalities. I love that they are tackling the process of setting up a permaculture farm. Getting the inside scoop from a couple really doing the work, makes it feel less daunting somehow and a great encouragement for anyone else wishing for the permaculture or homesteading life. You won't want to miss an episode!
