I found this on Stitcher. I hopped around listening to posts that fit my writing needs. I wasn’t disappointed. I found a number of AHA moments. I’ve even posted them on my group writing page since I felt the information to be too good not to share.
I can’t tag every post so as I hear particularly good (to me) insightful things, I’m posting them on my blog with references to that episode.
I know by the time I’ve worked my way through the few episodes posted I’ll have a better handle on making my new book a page turner.
I suggest you listen to these guys break down the different aspects of writing in a way that’s easy to understand. They give real examples in popular books and movies. It’s basic writing but given in a fun easy to comprehend manner.

Great info

Great info. Especially enjoy the critique section of the program

Smart and sweet

This is a great find. Both hosts are authors and love nerding out about the nits and bolts of writing a novel - story structure, characterization, world building and so on. They're enthusiastic and nice to listen to. They also do author interviews and something that sets them apart from the rest is that they read the person's book prior to the interview. Would recommend to any aspiring authors.
