Leveraging over a decade of video production, filmmaking, and storytelling, he turned off his camera, turned up the mic, and started asking award winning writers their perspective on the craft and community of writing. Ben is a great host and does a wonderful job introducing concepts of story. Loved the first episodes and can’t wait to hear what’s coming next!
Definitely For Writers
I ran across this podcast after hearing Pam Houston speak in Redding, CA. Ben Hess is involved with the WritersXWriters workshop, of which Pam Houston was a co-founder, and these podcasts are a glimpse into writers and how they work. Fascinating, and a useful tool for aspiring writers.
Great insight into the WritingxWriters community for those who’ve never been to a WxW workshop and an AMAZINGLY helpful reminder for those who have. It’s helping me keep the focus I gained at the conference which is much needed and appreciated, especially the author interviews. I listed to keep myself in that sacred place of being positive and hopeful about my writing practice.
