Great tips backed by experience and examples
Johnny, Sean, and Dave kill it in this mini-podcast series! Been a fan of the SPP for a few months now, but this has got to be one of the most useful things I’ve personally gotten from these three authors. Listen to these for great tips that they use in their own writing, including writing beats, characters, casting characters, developing setting, and outlining. They also use plenty of relevant and popular examples to help us listeners understand what they’re advising. Definitely check out this podcast series - I highly recommend it to any writer, whether to start a novel or reframe/develop your current one. I know I’ll be using their advice!
More Brilliance From The Fab Three!
Okay, I'm a huge SPP fan and *gulp* BOU fan as well, but there's a TON of awesome here even if you've never heard of Sean, Dave or Johnny (is that possible?).
Anyway, I love these guys like they were my very own imaginary friends and they have a habit of always over delivering on awesome stuff. This is no different. I listened to this podcast/training/course straight through and will be revisiting again and again.
Totally inspiring and I cannot wait for the Story Shop App!!!!!
Focused on what they do best
This is great stuff on the process as honed by a massively productive team. Unlike their SPPodcast, this stays on topic rather than having lots of chatty rambling, and here they keep the language clean. I loved their book "Write Publish Repeat" but this actually has more of the inner process I had hoped for in that book.
