A great podcast for writers...and story wonks

StoryWonk Daily has 300 podcasts under its belt (I'm still going through them), and now they're doing a longer, one-day-a-week format. It's just been one full ep so far, but Alastair and Lani are as adorable as they were on Daily. This is my favorite writing podcast: the hosts are enthusiastic, honest (about "writer crazy," etc), and have a great rapport. One of my favorite things about it is their analysis of TV shows (Cheers, Leverage, Buffy, etc) and movies (Simon Pegg movies on ep 2). If you're interested in narrative and pop culture, you'll really enjoy this podcast.

The stuff that matters

Storywonk Sunday offers an unbelievably generous amount of advice for aspiring writers. Even if you've been published, storywonk will offer you something in regards to the craft or finding inspiration in outside sources.
I've been listening for a long time an I look forward to each new episode as if it's a casual meeting with close friends over coffee.

You need to hear this.

Better all the time...

This is a continuation of Story Wonk Daily - same great content, with a much more sane schedule. Well worth listening to if you're a writer or would just like to find out more of what goes on behind the curtain for your favorite author.

Just listened to the episode on writer happiness and character misery and loved it. It reminded me which of us was SUPPOSED to suffer the angst ;)
