Description

Join us as we explore the stranger aspects of our world. From bigfoot creatures and other cryptids to hauntings, hexes, magick, and more. A combination of historical research, witness interviews, discussion, and on-site recordings (where possible) is used to tell stories of the weird-but-true.

Customer Reviews

Well Done and great PA tales of the paranormal and local folklore.

A well researched and highly fascinating podcast exploring the local tales of haunted locales in Pennsylvania. I love it that the guys include songs they have preformed that are tied into what the show is about.

I'm from next door in Ohio and can attest that us Midwesterners all have a Toad Road, an Egypt Road, A Winding Staircase, lol.

Love Strange Familiars

This is a great way to explore the folklore of Southern PA. Well presented and researched, with a great atmosphere!

Great premise, terrible execution.

Really looking forward to a Pennsylvania-centric podcast, but this one dies quickly. Two is always a crowd telling stories, especially two tongue-smackers. 11 minutes into the first episode I listened to, these yakkers are still promoting the show, giggling and tossing in-jokes back and forth. They then turn the story over to a woman who, while gifted with a pleasant voice, sounds robotic as she plainly reads a story. Egads. Then they jump back in to "discuss." Enough. I've now spent more time panning this mess than listening to it. Go back to the drawing board, guys. And remove yourselves from the audio. Annoying.
