Great chemistry between the hosts and I love the Christian approach to sci-fi and fantasy. As a Christian raised in a conservative home, I always thought there was something wrong with me for liking fantastical stories, places, and creatures. Now I realize that the fantastical is not to be feared but enjoyed! Thank you guys for redeeming this area of storytelling!

Good But A Little Criticism

I really like this podcast. They do a good job of dissecting movies and culture from a Christian perspective.

I do have a bit of criticism. Sometimes I feel like Ben can be a little bit more critical than accepting of Evan's comments, particularly on the Dreamworks Animation episode.

I think a great thing about being Geeks (especially Christian Geeks) is that we should be loving and respectful of the other's views, even if they aren't particularly views that we agree on. I felt like on this episode, Evan was trying to express some of his excitement over these films and Ben was the guy that would approve or disapprove. I don't think there was a lot of shared excitement or unity, but rather I felt like there was a lot of correcting and surprised pauses that seemed to cancel out any of Evan's enthusiasm. I believe that this could really turn people off who are excited about these films as much as Evan was.

I think we as Geek believers in Christ should be less critical of other's opinions and more open to share similar excitement to dig into movies and find biblical themes or ideas, rather than simply reject and state cryptic comments like,"Yeah, it was a movie..."

The Best Podcast Ever!!!

This is a great podcast, everyone should listen! They talk about interesting things and everyone should give them a try.
