Genuine & Authentic
I have to admit that I approached this Podcast with low expectations. I imagined that it might have a smothering, religious agenda or be yet another attempt at social media credibility by an enormous publisher.
After listening to these fine gents for three episodes, I subscribed and will follow them closely. They are clearly skilled professors who have reached a stage in their own development that allows them to give back to others. It is a very difficult time in California Higher Education. Our only hope is to pool resources and techniques. We have to do our best work to help our students as they make their way to graduation and a tough job market.
de Roulet and Pecoraro are doing their part. I look forward to more great content and more hours listening to their gentle and intelligent approach to this magnificent profession.

A great resource for faculty
We need to be having more conversations at our higher education institutions about how faculty can best serve students in their learning experience. This podcast starts that conversation in a very effective and practical way.
Too often, the job of caring for students is perceived to be a "student affairs role" or otherwise secondary to the academic rigor of the classroom. David and Daniel make the case for the value of both caring and academic rigor, and how both together provide a tremendous value to not only students - but also faculty and higher education institutions. Each show provides a different lens and topic, along with practical tips for putting action behind intention.
I've founds lots of value here that he helped me become a more effective adjunct professor and I am confident that any faculty member would benefit from this show. If you truly care about student success in your classroom, Student Caring is for you.
A very entertaining + informative podcast on Higher Education
The dynamic duo of Professors de Roulet and Pecoraro provide practical and enjoyable tips and advice for students, parents and professors. They are highly informative and entertaining at the same time. This podcast provides tons of value and is guaranteed to make you smile or laught at least once while listening. The show is well thought out and is of professionally quality. The Student Caring Community is fortunate to have such a great resource. If you haven't already, go ahead and subscribe to the podcast. You'll thank me later! - Garrick Gibson
