||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 14 | Malcolm Stewart and Jason Montoya||Malcolm Stewart was enjoying a great start to the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross Series until he was struck down with a crash in the Phoenix main event. Stewart suffered a broken femur, but he's already working out in hopes of returning to action as soon as possible. We paid Mookie a visit at his home in Corona and sat down for a podcast with him and his mechanic Jason "Rango" Montoya.||1/17/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 13 | Ryan Villopoto||Ryan Villopoto is one of my all-time favorites, and especially so since he's been retired from professional racing. These days in his role as a marketing partner with Yamaha Motors, RV is laid back and loving life as he raises his twin sons with his wife Kristen. Tomorrow, RV and I will take to the rainy streets of SoCal aboard the new 2019 Yamaha YZF R3, but we caught up in this fun podcast tonight to discuss everything I could come up with. This one was one really enjoyable conversation...I hope you enjoy it too.||1/15/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 12: Cole Seely at Anaheim One||Honda HRC's Cole Seely made his return to Monster Energy Supercross yesterday at Anaheim One after missing most of the 2018 season due to horrific injuries he suffered while running second in last year's championship. Always one of the fun riders to work with, we decided to try something different with this episode of the Swapmoto Live Podcast, presented by Ogio. Starting as soon as Cole arrived at Angel's Stadium, we shadowed him throughout his day to give listeners some insight as to what a factory rider goes through on race day at a Supercross. We were surprised at how much we actually learned about the process, and we're sure you will enjoy this exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Seely's day at Anaheim One. Thanks to the entire Honda HRC staff for allowing us to invade the semi, as well as to the show's sponsors, Ogio, RynoPower, Scott Motorsports, Intense Cycles, and Roy's Cyclery.||1/6/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 11 | Anaheim One Press Day||It's hard to believe that we are already on the eve of the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross Series opener, isn't it? Press day functions were held today at Angel's Stadium and all of the major teams were on hand to ride for the press and take part in a conference that was broadcasted live on TransWorldMX.com. I thought it would be interesting to take a recorder around and see what people in the pits had to say about the new season. Included are Rockstar Energy Husqvarna tuner Chris "C-Lo" Loredo, who spins wrenches on Jason Anderson's bike, new in-booth announcer Ricky Carmichael, Yamaha's Aaron Plessinger, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Mitch Payton, D'Cor Visuals owner Danny Dobey, HEP Suzuki's Alex Ray, and privateer hero Dean Wilson. Enjoy!||1/4/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 10 | Justin Bogle||Former Eastern Region 250 Supercross Champion Justin Bogle was set to field his own privateer effort in this year's Monster Energy Supercross Series this year, but a last-minute offer with the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM team will see him compete aboard an Austrian-made KTM for the first time in his career. We saw Bogle in action at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park aboard his new bike this morning and were able to catch up with him this evening to get the scoop on how everything came about. Bogle has enjoyed more success than most professional racers ever will, but his career thus far has still been filled with more challenges than any one man should be forced to overcome. Hear about this and a whole lot more with this episode of the Swapmoto Live Podcast, presented by Ogio.||1/2/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 9: Hunter Lawrence Reload||NOTE: The first upload glitched at the 53 min mark. This episode is complete! GEICO Honda's latest recruit comes to us from Australia, via the MXGP World Championship Series. Nineteen-year-old Hunter Lawrence will make his American Supercross debut in February at the Minneapolis kickoff of the Eastern Regional 250 Supercross Championship alongside teammates Christian Craig and Chase Sexton. Lawrence and his family have an intriguing story, as they sold everything they owned in Australia to chase the motocross dream in Europe, with the ultimate goal of racing in the United States someday. Now that the Lawrence family is finally here (younger brother Jett is also signed to the Amsoil Honda amateur branch of the team), few doubt that they will succeed in accomplishing their two-wheeled dreams. We went for a chilly early mountain bike ride up Corona, California's renowned Skyline Trail this morning, then sat down with Hunter for this installment of the Swapmoto Live Podcast, presented by Ogio. Give it a listen; we're sure you'll become a fan of the personable young Aussie.||12/28/2018||Free||View in iTunes|

||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 8 | Alex Ray||Alex Ray got the break of a lifetime last year when he was recruited by the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory team to fill in for an injured Cooper Webb, and that helped lead him to a ride with the HEP Motorsports Suzuki support squad for the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross Championship Series. One of the funniest guys in the pits, ARay is always fun to hang with. We braved the high-crime area of his condo parking lot to chat about a wide variety of subjects in this episode of Swapmoto Live, presented by Ogio.||12/26/2018||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 7 | 2019 250 MX Comparison||First of all, I am at the tail end of a gnarly chest cold so my voice is completely blown out and for this, I apologize. Today, we rode all six of the 2019 250cc MX bikes for a back-to-back comparison in day one of the TransWorld Motocross 250 Shootout. Though we will spend several more days on the machines before coming to a conclusion for print in the magazine, I thought it would be interesting for listeners to hear feedback from two of my most regarded test riders, Mike Sleeter and Pat Foster, about how the machines stacked up. With Foster residing some five hours north in the mountain town of Bishop, we recorded this episode of Swapmoto Live, presented by Ogio, while he was still in town...thus the reason I was unable to wait for my voice to return to normal. Again, please bear with the super froggy sound of my voice, but enjoy the invaluable feedback and insight offered by Sleeter and Foster.||12/17/2018||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 6 | Weston Peick||Weston Peick suffered horrific injuries at the Paris Supercross in November when he crashed at the start of a race and his head was landed on by another racer. Three surgeries and two weeks later, Peick is finally home in SoCal and we were lucky enough to chat with him and his fiancee Kelly Cleland, about the life-changing ordeal. Please listen to this heart-wrenching Podcast and then consider donating to Peick's recovery fund at www.road2recovery.com||12/11/2018||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 5 | 2019 Suzuki RM-Z250 First Impression||The 2019 Suzuki RM-Z250 just arrived on American shores and we got to throw our legs over ours today at Cahuilla Creek MX Park during the Insideline Connect Media Camp. Though Suzuki flew selected journalists to take our first ride on the bike a couple months ago in Japan, the event was rained on and the track was a far cry from the circuits we have in the States. So technically, today was our second ride on the all-new yellow bike, but our first on a familiar track. We were pleasantly surprised and quite impressed with the new 'Zook. Mike Sleeter joined me today to chat about what we thought of the bike after one full day of riding it.||12/4/2018||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 4 | 2019 Honda CRF250R First Impression||We took delivery of the 2019 Honda CRF250R last week and gave the bike its first shakedown today at Cahuilla Creek MX Park in Anza, California. This is a two-part podcast. In part one, we discussed the changes made to the '19 bike with American Honda technician Jason Paredes. We also covered set-up tips for the new bike, plus Jason shared a few insights about getting the most performance and durability out of the CRF. In part two, we are joined by TransWorld Motocross test rider Pat Foster, who has been with the magazine for 18 years. Foster is regarded by many as one of the most thorough and insightful test riders and is well respected within the industry. If you're in the market for a 2019 Honda CRF250R, this is a show you've gotta hear! Thanks to American Honda, Jason Abbott, and Cahuilla Creek MX Park. This show is made possible by Ogio Powersports, RynoPower, and Roy's Cyclery.||11/28/2018||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 3 | Christian Craig||GEICO Honda's Christian Craig is healthy and anxious for the 2019 Western Regional 250 Supercross Championship to get underway in January, as he was sidelined for the summer with injuries sustained in a crash at the 450 National series opener. Healthy and fit, Craig is sure to be a contender each time he lines up. We caught up with the father of two yesterday at the Honda test track before he started a long day of engine and suspension testing with the team.||11/27/2018||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 2 | Justin Brayton||At 34, Justin Brayton is at the peak of his career. Fresh off his third Australian Supercross Championship, the MCR Honda rider joins us in Paris, France, for our second show and first-ever international production! In town for the 2018 Paris Supercross, Brayton admits that he may not be up to par as he has struggled with pneumonia and bronchitis for the past couple of months, but as always he will give it his all. We chatted about everything from his early days dreaming about racing Arenacross, to winning the Daytona Supercross and everything in between! Enjoy! Please comment with any suggestions and or ideas about future shows.||11/17/2018||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanSwapmoto Live Podcast Presented by Ogio Ep. 1: Malcolm Stewart||Anaheim 1 is less than eight weeks away and for the first time since moving up to the 450 class, Malcolm Stewart is preparing for the season with a solid ride. Well, sort of. The Motoconcepts Honda team has been supporting Mookie through the off-season with the promise of a full-time ride for the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross Championship if he A: can attract an outside sponsor to help offset the expense of supporting him, and B: hire a trainer and get into the best physical shape of his career. Thus far, it looks like both requirements are panning out, as Team Manager Tony Alessi told us last week that the money part of the equation is coming together, and Malcolm has been busting his butt with trainer Gareth Swanepoel. Malcolm has been one of the most popular riders in the pits since he turned pro, and the former 250 West Coast Supercross Champion has always been a good friend of mine, so he was an easy choice for the first-ever episode of the Swapmoto Live Podcast, presented by Ogio.||11/12/2018||Free||View in iTunes|
One of the best MX Podcast’s out there
I listen to podcasts all day. The podcast with Malcom Stewart was the best Moto podcast I’ve ever heard. The Christian Craig one is really good. I can’t wait to listen to more of these podcasts. Thanks Swap!
