Description

Season One of Talking Turkey distills a year's worth of off-kilter conversations between Neil and James, two Canadian PhD Candidates in English Literature. Seldom serious, often absurd, and occasionally insightful, it's the kind of conversation you've been missing. They should be writing their dissertations, but instead they're Talking Turkey.

Turkey well done

Would have given five stars but, tonally, it seemed more sincere to give four?

Great pilot episode. Went out for a walk, specifically to listen. And then found myself alone in the street with an idiotic grin on my face.

Finlayson is on to something, suggesting the end-of-sentence 'upswing' already self-ironizes the statement. "There's nothing for you here"... Do he and Nicholson intend a similar twist with the show generally? Or will sincerity carry the day?

Turkeys!

Funny and irrereverent

It's like going out for a beer with your best friend, the topics you talked about may be silly, but the discussion will keep you entertained for hours.
