Business Manager & Entrepreneur

What an outstanding podcast! This conversation between Ms. Bonner and Ms. Plummer, both clear experts in their industry/ies (and a great on-air team too I might add), is so chock full of delicious insight into the realities of today's music machine. From uncovering and carefully explaining the realities/alternatives new and developing artists experience in deal negotiation, to breaking down 360 deals, to carefully considering the freedom of being the sound behind the educational, insightful and relevant. Would recommend this as a 'must-hear' primer for anyone seriously considering the business part of the music business.

Truly Insightful

Loving this podcast! The personal experiences and nuts and bolts of the entertainment business make it very informative. Plus the guests really have interesting stories of how they came to where they are in their careers as well as balancing their personal and professional lives. I particularly liked the interview with Nikole Denson-Randolph and how frank she was about having to take a few steps backwards in her career to ultimately move forward to where she wanted to be. As a relatively rare, happy lawyer myself, I am always looking for creative outlets in my life and this podcast is an inspiration.
