Could this be the best new SF/F interview show?

It's certainly a competitor for the one with the most wry style. Supervillain author Emma Newman interrogates (read: interviews) SF/F professionals and awesome people while offering them tea and suffering stiff-upper-lip snarkery from her butler. Maybe one of these times, people won't give up the location of her secret lair!

Enchanting and transportive.

Emma's premise is to interview fantasy, adventure, science-fiction, and horror writers in a fitting environment, from a volcanic lair to a towering lighthouse. Emma's voice is sweet and alluring with a touch of poison which contributes to the more darkly humorous aspects of the podcast. Her personality is strong but doesn't overwhelm the presence of the guest. Another darkly comedic spin is her trusty butler who devises traps to end the lives of guests who somehow miraculously escape. Additionally each interview comes in a bite sized portion, just enough for one's tea interval.

I recently decided to check out this podcast after seeing it on the Hugo ballot. What a good choice, both for a Hugo award and for my personal entertainment! The basic concept of the show goes like the this: Emma Newman interviews a wide range of interesting SFF authors and professionals while her evil butler, Latimer, secretly plots the guest’s demise. Equal parts charm and delight!
