Customer Reviews

Startup relevant! Refreshingly palatable political insight.

This unique podcast offers a refreshingly palatable discussion of politics and how it intersects with tech, deep tech, Internet privacy, venture funding, and the startup ecosystem. The host, Tom Serres, offers a strikingly pragmatic and respectful presence, which enables guests to offer insight without lowbrow political pandering and chest-thumping platitudes. This is a major format-accomplishment. I should also mention the audio production of the podcast is top-notch.

Guests are clearly drawn from the thought leaders of startups (e.g., Eric Ries) and VC, which prompts deep-dives into salient topics and emerging trends. It’s encouraging to see technology discussed in this informative and intelligent manner with a begrudgingly relevant topic, politics. I’m excited to share this podcast with my students to keep them “entrepreneurially-informed” and “politically-aware”.

Explains a lot

This was super helpful to get insight into how different views of people view how technology goes along with politics and how tech can help spread the world of that is going on in the government.

Effect of Tech on Politics

This is a great pod cast because they say that an election is every four years so it is important to be campaigning every single day in those four years to make it effective and technology is the only effective way of getting the word out there. This pod cast really goes into supurb detail of how politicians can be more effective if they were more innovative.
