Over-promising and under-delivering
I really hope the folks at Jalopnik can do better than what I've heard so far. Dudes with a microphone and an idea for a story do not make a podcast. This is why people need editors: to guide them toward substance and call b.s. The episode about the guardian angel was about 25 minutes longer than it needed to be and filled with "mystery" and not-at-all-dramatic turns that could have been solved with some basic research. (Tip: use the local library to source addresses and information from the era in question. They can tell you what cab companies were operating at the time and where the Montgomery Ward's was.)
Please make new episodes
