I have been waiting a long time for this
I have been following Mark for a long time and waiting for him to launch a podcast. This first episode did not disappoint. I really enjoy the format and the challenges at the end. The challenge is such a great way to apply the guests learning. I'm looking forward to many more outstanding shows.
Really good so far
I came across Mark's website a few weeks ago and was quite taken with the amount and caliber of info he provided, and so I signed up for his emails. Glad I did cause I just got a notice about his new podcast. Last night I listened to the first episode and I gotta say: this promises to be my go-to podcast for support in navigating the creative world.
In the last 6 months or so I started moving towards being an artist who actually sells things, and promotes themself (rather than keeping everything in the basement), and I believe this will really help in moving forward. It seems like Mark has put a lot of effort into how to make his podcast both entertaining and informative (which sounds a bit cliche I know but is actually quite difficult to do).
There are several other self-employed/promote yourself podcasts I've tried that basically seem to just regurgitate old ideas and package them into a new happy-music sound effect ball of nothing. If anything Mark's podcast does not seem like it will be a ball of nothing.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and am excited to see where things go...
Both Inspiring and validating for an artist.
I grow weary of so many online services vying for my attention with click-bait free offers. But when I was offered Mark's free eBook "Productivity" it sounded interesting so I bit. It was very helpful. I am even more impressed with the content and presentation of Mark's new podcast, The 21st Century Creative. I have found it a great way to start my morning in the studio, with a hot cup of tea, I enjoy playing the podcast for about ten minutes. I continue the next morning where I left off, so I have a full week of centering and validating dialogue to get my day started in a good frame of mind. Thanks Mark.
