Essential talks on theatre (and life)

This is one of the best theatre industry podcasts going because it is so much more - free-ranging conversations with theatre artists led by two curious, empathetic amd deeply gifted theatre artists that get to the heart of both the artistic pursuit and the human one. Julia Meinwald and Sam Heldt are endlessly fascinating, and they keep programming guest after guest who is, too. If you come for the inside scoop on making a go of it as an artist, you will end up staying because of the medicine you get for your actual life.

A wonderful, affecting view of theatre from the inside.

I just listened to the episode with Tori, and it was wonderful, informative, and a tinch heartbreaking.

Thanks so much for documenting this side of theatre and having such deep and honest conversation.

Great podcast for theater artists!

I love this podcast! As a theater writer I learn so much from the guests, and the hosts ask great questions. I love hearing about an actor’s process and what it takes to tour and step into roles at a moment’s notice. And I love hearing writers dissect music and why they love the shows they love. All aspiring actors, writers, and anyone else in the theater will learn so much by listening.
