Frak yeah!

Having been a fan of Mark A. Altman’s writing for years (his 50-Years books with Ed Gross are the best making-of books on Star Trek ever made) I am over the moon to hear his takes and thoughts on geekdom on a regular basis.

Could be my own tastes, but I’m always more interested in hearing commentary on movies and TV from someone that has some realistic idea of how those entertainments are made. Having been an producer for several TV shows (Castle, The Librarian) and the great cult movie Free Enterprise, Altman is exactly the kind of geek I like to listen to.

Very excited. Also, he was a great guest talking Star Trek on the Dorking Out Show podcast... which I mention here for no particular reason.

Time well spent

Fast paced, light hearted but lots of great information about some of your favorite movies.

Industry vets, movie geeks at heart

My favorite new podcast. Starlog, VHS, LaserDisc, Ken Crane, Trek, TV Guide... this is my tribe.
