Description

After the death of her husband, Janet Milliken moved her two children from California to Pennsylvania to start over. Their new house, a colonial on a quiet street, seemed idyllic. But once they moved in, things started to go wrong: Odd sounds, strange sensations, whispers from the neighbors. Eventually, the Millikens discovered the dark history of the house. “The Ghosts of Pickering Trail,” by Will Hunt and Matt Wolfe, offers a gripping portrait of a family ravaged by grief and driven to the edge by experiences that defy explanation.

Customer Reviews

One great series and two disasters...

The casino bomber story was a fantastic start, but the hippo story was a catastrophe - an irritating labyrinth that never should have been released. Can Atavist recover?

The answer is no since a bungled third story has been released. True crime? Check. Ghosts? Check. 40 minute detailed lecture on the mind-numbing nuisances of real estate law? Check!!!

Wow, these guys have a lot to learn about story telling still.

Great Addition to the Text

This first episode is awesome. Read by the author. Engrossing narrative is part of all The Atavist pieces so I think they will make excellent audio as well.

Mhmm.

Great story. I love radio, but there is something refreshing about the written word. Even if it’s read out loud. Or maybe especially if it’s read out loud.
