CleanThe Atlantic Files #116: New Look Philadelphia 76ers | The Philadelphia 76ers have officially gone all in! As everyone was asleep before the trade deadline, Elton Brand decided he would pull off a move that Sixers fans have been waiting for for quite a while now. Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, Mike Scott, Jonathon Simmons, and James Ennis III all made their way to the City of Brotherly Love. Along the way, they did give up a promising rookie in Landry Shamet, a handful of picks, and the curious case of Markelle Fultz. They look primed to make a deep playoff run this season but do Mike and Alex think they're the automatic favorites out East? Another team in the Atlantic made a big-time trade to bring in big-time talent. The Toronto Raptors brought in the services of Marc Gasol to slot into a starting five that already has Kyle Lowry and Kawhi Leonard! Does this keep them as a favorite in the East? All the while, the Milwaukee Bucks acquired Nikola Mirotic and the Boston Celtics stood pat. Top heavy would probably the best way to describe the Eastern Conference right now, but we're not complaining. We're looking forward to this conference battle! Listen to the full episode above to hear Mike and Alex's thoughts on all of the trades and deals. | 2/14/2019 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #115: New York Knicks without Kristaps | Kristaps Porzingis, the man hated by New York Knicks fans on draft night, then beloved as he became a "unicorn" has now become part of a dynamic Euro duo in Dallas. Not sure if you'd call it a "blockbuster" of a trade, but Porzingis was dealt alongside Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee for Dennis Smith Jr., Wes Matthews, DeAndre Jordan, and two first-round picks. This trade was met with mixed emotions from both sides in Dallas and New York. Some may think that Porzingis is injury prone and not yet fully proven. Some think he and Luka Doncic will become a force in the West. Some also think the Knicks made the right decision so that they can reload with picks and join the free agent sweepstakes for big-name players. Heck, you could even think all of the above if we're being real. In any case, Mike and Alex welcomed Gregg Sussman of FNTSY Sports Network to talk about his Knicks and how he thinks this trade went for the team's future. | 2/4/2019 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #114: 2019 NBA All-Star Starters | The 2019 NBA All-Star weekend is only a few weeks away! Captains and starters have now been announced so of course, that means it's time to talk about who should really be starting and who shouldn't. This week, Mike and Alex are joined by Dennis Clausen, writer at Rotoballer, another time to talk about the Brooklyn Nets and plenty of All-Star talk. LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been announced as the captains to the All-Star Game. No surprises there. Which players should have been starters though and are there certain players that do not deserve to be there? Paul George is one player that has gotten the most criticism, especially since it meant leaving Anthony Davis off of the starter list. "PAUL GEORGE IS HAVING PROBABLY THE BEST SEASON OF HIS CAREER. SAYING HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE A STARTER IS CRAZY." Adrian Wojnarowski announced that Spencer Dinwiddie tore some ligaments in his finger, and is now out for three to six weeks. How does this impact the Nets playoff chances and can they survive the stretch without Dinwiddie on top of missing Caris LeVert? Mike and Dennis both think they can make it through to the All-Star break and then get Dinwiddie back for another run. With LeVert scheduled to come back this season as well, the Nets may make their first playoff appearance in quite a while. | 1/28/2019 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #113: Drama within the Boston Celtics | Beantown, home of the Boston Celtics, is also home to a whole lot of basketball drama these days! Mike and Alex are joined by John Strevens, a friend of the pod and a part of the Boston faithful. Kyrie Irving has been struggling a little as a leader as of late. He has had to phone a friend and he's been getting frustrated in interviews and noticeably on the court as well. Marcus Morris and Jaylen Brown got into a little scuffle during a timeout. Are they getting fed up with each other because they don't want to share the ball? "THE FACT THAT MARCUS MORRIS IS DOING SO MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED COULD BE THE REASON THAT THE CELTICS HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT HOW TO BALANCE THEIR STARS." Mike, of course, had a nice little hot take for all of us when talking about the Brooklyn Nets. Spencer Dinwiddie and D'Angelo Russell have been great for the Nets, but how good are they compared to the rest of the East? Finally, the Philadelphia 76ers have their own drama with Jimmy Butler and the rest of the team not entirely gelling just yet. Will the Sixers retain Butler at the end of the season or will they go for someone else and let him walk? "I THINK RIGHT NOW I'D RATHER HAVE BRADLEY BEAL OVER JIMMY BUTLER ON THE SIXERS." Let us know on Twitter who you'd take on the Sixers right now, Jimmy Butler or Bradley Beal! | 1/17/2019 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #112: 2019 NBA All-Star Predictions | The 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend is only a little over a month away! Mike Bash and Alex Fischbein are back this week to give their thoughts on the first returns of the All-Star ballots. Also, they touch on the college season and the top prospects heading into the 2019 NBA Draft. Throughout the East and West, there are a handful of snubs and surprises on the list. Guys like Jeremy Lin, Vince Carter, and Lonzo Ball were all surprises according to Mike and Alex. One guy they both saw that should be on the list is Tobias Harris. They go over his case for an All-Star appearance as well as others. The college season is in full swing as we've already seen some upsets and some players rise and fall in stock. Mike and Alex go over some of Basketball Society's scouting reports and some very early mock drafts and big boards. Listen to the episode above to hear their full thoughts! | 1/7/2019 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #111: Brooklyn Nets sneaking into the playoffs | Mike and Alex are back from the holiday stretch to talk some Brooklyn Nets basketball! The Nets hit a nice little winning streak and now they're legitimately threatening to sneak into the playoff picture. Also, Kawhi Leonard seems to be liking Toronto more and more with the Drake pictures and Nick Nurse coming to his defense. Then, there's the word "tampering" getting thrown around in regards to LeBron James and Anthony Davis. D'Angelo Russell and Spencer Dinwiddie are the two main engines of this Nets emergence. There may be some underrated players that are helping push the train though. However, should the Nets try to get the eighth seed or should they just show some promise and still miss the playoffs to get the better pick? Kawhi Leonard was seen with Drake and the proof was posted on Instagram. What does this mean for Toronto's chances in retaining the superstar? He was also rumored to have dinner with someone in the Nets' camp, so maybe he's still thinking of joining Jay-Z instead? Finally, some small market general managers have complained about LeBron James' comments about Anthony Davis. They believe he should be fined for tampering, but almost nobody agrees with that. Mike and Alex laughed it off just like someone saying that TJ McConnell and Spencer Dinwiddie aren't the greatest of all time. | 1/4/2019 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #110: Joel Embiid's short lived frustration | This week on The Atlantic Files, Mike Bash and Alex Fischbein dive into the story of Joel Embiid's frustration with his role on the team, the Brooklyn Nets grabbing a big win against Toronto, and the Chicago Bulls hitting an all-time low. Embiid went on record saying that he was frustrated with how he was being used on the Philadelphia 76ers. He hit a little bit of a rough stretch before he was rested for a game, and he wasn't shy about telling the media his reasoning. He did, however, clarify his statements later, which led Alex and Mike to believe that his frustration was never really with the role, just his own play at the time. The Nets had themselves a game and took down the top team in the East! Ed Davis, who also plays better defense against Embiid over any other big in the Atlantic, put up some crazy Reggie Evans type numbers. When will they start beating the bad teams as well though? Also, the Chicago Bulls had a historic beat down. No, they were not on the winning side. Chicago fans, you probably have already tried to forget about it. We had to comment on it though because the players even complained about their practices. CleanThe Atlantic Files #109: Teams inquiring about Frank Ntilikina | On this week's episode of The Atlantic Files, Mike and Alex give their thoughts on the final verdict of what's wrong with Markelle Fultz, the rumors of Frank Ntilikina on the trading block, whether Jaylen Brown is the odd man out, and more! Fultz was finally officially diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which gives a lot of people, especially Fultz himself, closure at last. The cause is now known, so the question is what happens next. Did Fultz actually suffer this injury from a motorcycle injury and will he continue to play for Philadelphia? Rumors around the Twitter streets are that Frank Ntilikina is on the trade block. The New York Knicks are looking to move on from the experiment with Ntilikina apparently, but the teams who are supposedly interested don't make too much sense. Speaking of trades, is it time for the Boston Celtics to field some calls about Jaylen Brown? With Gordon Hayward slowly getting back to his ways, maybe it would help to not have so many players that need the ball. However, there's still time to allow everyone to gel. Listen to Mike and Alex's thoughts about that and more! | 12/13/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #108: Boston Celtics staying patient | Mike and Alex return again to talk about a couple of the Atlantic teams that they've neglected a little bit throughout this season so far. The Boston Celtics and New York Knicks get a little check-up, plus the guys give their thoughts on some news stories and video games. "The Celtics are settling for too many jumpshots so far this year." - Mike Bash The boys in Beantown aren't enjoying the same start to the season that they, and the fans, had hoped for. A team full of players who can all hold their own in the playoffs is taking some time to gel. How much time do they have until it's ok to panic? Mike and Alex both think that patience is the key. Madison Square Garden isn't buzzing due to a playoff team, but it is because some young players are showing some promise. Kristaps Porzingis isn't back yet, but by the time he does get back this team could look completely different than how he left it. Finally, Dwight Howard got himself into one very strange situation. Mike and Alex give their thoughts on the situation and the injury but get distracted by some video game talk. CleanThe Atlantic Files #107: Markelle Fultz needs a 30 for 30 | Mike and Alex are back on the mic this week with a little hoops talk. Markelle Fultz is back in the news with some more bizarre happenings, and the guys take a look around the league at some of the most surprising storylines going on. Markelle Fultz, after having what seemed like a good offseason, now will not report to or play in any Philadelphia 76ers games until he sees and is cleared by a shoulder specialist in New York. This news came from his agent and lawyer which comes not too long after the beef Fultz had with his trainer over a deleted tweet that said he was not healthy. Add this to the laundry list of topics that could be included in a 30 for 30 and we're on the couch waiting for it. The Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies, of all teams, are near the top of the Western Conference. Can they sustain that level of play or will other teams overtake them as the year goes on? Also, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Boston Celtics are both looking much worse than expected. What can they do to turn it around this year? Hear the guys speak on these topics and more in the full episode below! | 11/27/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #106: Hello Jimmy Butler | Alex is back in the country which means Alex and Mike are both back with another episode of The Atlantic Files! While away, Jimmy Butler came to Philadelphia, Caris LeVert suffered an ugly injury, and the Atlantic Division continued to look like the best division in the East. Jimmy Butler was shipped out of Minnesota for Dario Saric and Robert Covington among some other pieces. Alex was sad to see those two go but is more than excited to see the big three of Butler, Joel Embiid, and Ben Simmons. Mike and Alex both agree that this finally gives Philly someone to perform in the clutch. Caris LeVert suffered a very ugly injury that, unfortunately, put a halt to such a great season that he was putting together. The good news is that the damage to his ankle wasn't as serious as everyone thought. We may see him later this season, and finally, Mike can breathe. Finally, the guys do a quick run through of the rest of the division and touch on other news around the league such as the Kevin Durant and Draymond Green beef. | 11/18/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #105: Kawhi Leonard feasts on Ben Simmons | Mike and Alex welcome back another former guest of the podcast this week in Dennis Clausen from Rotoballer. The Atlantic Division is chugging along with the fresh new NBA season, and there's plenty to talk about. Kawhi Leonard had the chance to feast upon Ben Simmons, Kyrie Irving cut his hair, and the guys had the opportunity for some "live broadcasting." "Giving Kawhi Leonard someone to guard that can't shoot outside of the paint is like giving Barry Bonds, on steroids, an aluminum bat." - Alex The Toronto Raptors took on the Philadelphia 76ers and it went about as everyone expected. The Raptors took care of business quite easily, and the Sixers are still looking for answers to their shooting and defensive woes. Leonard and Kyle Lowry, on the other hand, are having a historic start to the season in terms of franchise history. Could this be the year that Toronto actually gets over the hump? Two of the Atlantic teams seem to be regressing back to where everyone expected as well in the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets. Mike was loving what he saw from Brooklyn in the first few games, but recently, not so much. Dennis and Mike talk about how important DeMarre Carroll was to the team last season, and if Jared Dudley should even still be on the roster. Finally, the guys take a quick look around the league at some of the other surprising starts and disappointments. | 11/1/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #104: New Orleans Pelicans are a real threat | Mike and Alex are joined again this week by Wahaj of the Back to the Basket Podcast! This week, the guys talk about the biggest surprises, biggest disappointments, small sample sizes, and old school teams that would thrive in this era of basketball. The New Orleans Pelicans happened to be a hot topic in biggest surprises, and it's not really a surprise as to why. They have been dominating teams, and guys such as Nikola Mirotic, Elfrid Payton, and Julius Randle have all been playing higher than the expectations. They seem to have continued from where they left off in that Portland series last year, and we're excited to see if they can continue! "Pelicans look like a real threat out West...I think the Pelicans might even finish top-three or top-four when it's all said and done." - Wahaj When talking about disappointments, however, Mike brought up the Boston Celtics. They haven't exactly looked like the dominant team that everyone expected when you take away the game against the Philadelphia 76ers. The offense has struggled mightily at times, and the defense is not at the level that it was in the playoffs last year. Jaylen Brown hasn't quite found his spot yet, and Gordon Hayward still needs some time to return to the level he's used to playing. Finally, the guys talk a little about the Harris-McConnell Cup, which is the official Atlantic Files fantasy league. Wahaj is set to face off against the Atlantic Files team next week which should be an interesting matchup. Also, after Mike played NBA 2k19 with one of the old New Jersey Nets teams, he raised the question, "Which older teams would be suited to play in today's era?" CleanThe Atlantic Files #103: Toronto Raptors could win the division | NBA basketball is finally back! The first regular season episode of The Atlantic Files is also here! Mike and Alex are here to break down what happened in the opening week and to give some serious thoughts on the Toronto Raptors. The Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics started us off with a game that felt much like the playoffs from last season. Ben Simmons put up an impressive stat line as expected, but the Celtics were ultimately way too much for the Sixers to handle. This opening game pretty much confirmed what the guys were predicting before the season. The Brooklyn Nets had a pretty impressive showing against the Detroit Pistons. Jarrett Allen and Caris LeVert both looked much improved while D'Angelo Russell was benched. There's plenty of season left to see if these trends go the other way, but right now this is about where the Nets were expected to be as well. One of the surprises was the New York Knicks. Allonzo Trier, Tim Hardaway Jr., and company took care of business in blowout fashion against the Atlanta Hawks. The surprise is not that they won, but more so how exciting the team looked. They still don't even have their unicorn back! Finally, the Raptors showed a lot of promise in a twelve-point win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kawhi Leonard looked like he's getting back to his old ways, and the rest of the team seemed to not skip a beat despite the roster shakeup and a new coach. They'll be tested when they play the Celtics, but that didn't stop Mike and Alex from thinking they could handle Boston and potentially win the division. | 10/19/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #102: Youtuber Envyerz | This week on The Atlantic Files, Mike and Alex welcome the Youtuber Envyerz to the show to talk about the Northwest Division and give some predictions on what they think will happen this season. Since this episode wraps up the Western Conference in the Around the League series, the guys also give their final predictions for the eight seeds in the Western Conference Playoffs. Last year's division champ, the Portland Trail Blazers, doesn't get very much high praise from the guys this year. Their team hasn't seen much change, and after a sweep at the hands of the New Orleans Pelicans last year, there isn't much evidence to claim their fortunes will change. Does that mean they will finish around the same record or worse though? The Oklahoma City Thunder seemed to have gained an addition by subtraction. They shed the weight of Carmelo Anthony, however, they don't really have any shooters on the roster. Everyone knows that Russell Westbrook isn't the most efficient shooter, so who will he be passing to on kickouts other than Paul George? Two teams that are high on the guys' radars are the Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz. Not surprising that these two are also the younger ones of the division, therefore deliver the most potential and promise. Does this mean it can give them the edge to win the division? "I think the Jazz could be a good fit for any star player. Jimmy Butler would be great on Utah." - Envyerz Finally, there is the Minnesota Timberwolves who happen to be dealing with all of the Jimmy Butler drama at the moment. There obviously the most difficult team to predict at the moment because there's no telling what kind of haul they'll get in return for Butler. It could make the team better in terms of cohesiveness, but it could also make the team worse in terms of talent. Where will they end up when the dust settles? | 10/10/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #101: Brandon 'Scoop B' Robinson | This week on The Atlantic Files, Alex and Mike welcome a fellow Basketball Society brother and special guest, Brandon 'Scoop B' Robinson of Scoop B Radio. Taking a one week break from the "Looking Around the League" series, Alex, Mike, and Scoop talk about all of the reports that Scoop has been dropping lately. Jimmy Butler has been a hot topic for the last couple of weeks. When he originally requested a trade out of Minnesota, he listed two teams in the Atlantic as part of his "wish list." The Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks fans began to get a little excited, but then the conversations quickly turned away from New York in general and went towards contenders. That's where Scoop B comes in with his report that the Houston Rockets became the frontrunners in trading for Butler. On top of reporting on the Butler trade, Scoop also spoke with the likes of Jamal Crawford recently who still happens to be a free agent. Crawford has been tied to the Philadelphia 76ers and, most recently, the Boston Celtics. Two teams that could instantly take another step up with a proven sixth man coming off of the bench. Finally, the guys talk about Scoop's report in the offseason about LeBron James heading to the Los Angeles Lakers and of course, Space Jam 2. | 10/4/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #100: Pacific Division Predictions | Episode 100 is actually here! Thank you to everyone who has supported and listened to the show thus far! This week, Alex and Mike take a look at the Pacific Division while continuing the Looking Around the League series. One team is an absolute given in the Pacific and it's not the one with LeBron James. The Golden State Warriors now have All-Stars at all five positions in their starting five when DeMarcus Cousins comes back from his Achilles injury. This doesn't mean that Alex and Mike think the Los Angeles Lakers will miss the playoffs though. If LeBron is on your team, you won't be a lottery team. However, the meme team doesn't seem to be equipped to win a ring just yet. The Los Angeles Clippers are in a sort of limbo right between tanking and competing. Of course, the team is going to say they're competing, but when your lead players are Lou Williams and Tobias Harris, it seems as though it could be the opposite. Finally, the two full-fledged tankers are on the way back up. The Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns added some serious talent in the draft, and their young guys have another year under their belts. Which rebuilding team will catapult to a higher tier first? Again, we would like to thank everyone who has listened to the show over the years. Our first episode debuted in 2014 and it still feels like a dream that we continue to record and talk about the sport we love to this day. The Atlantic Division has had quite the growth since this show first started and we're thrilled to continue to grow with it! | 9/28/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #99: Southwest Division Predictions | Mike Bash and Alex Fischbein are joined by Wahaj Mallick of the Back to the Basket Podcast. Not only do the guys take a look around the Southwest Division and make some predictions, but some Atlantic Division news came across the wire as well. Jimmy Butler requested a trade to get out of Minnesota. Two out of the three teams he named on his "wish list" happen to be in the Atlantic Division. Mike talks about the prospect of Butler joining the Nets, and what it may take to get him there. Elton Brand is the new General Manager of the Philadelphia 76ers. They said they wanted some people with experience before, so it looks like one year as a G-League GM is enough experience for them. Alex gives all of his thoughts on the hire. Then, there is the meat of the episode this week. All of the guys agree that the Houston Rockets are retaining their first place spot, but what happens underneath them is the interesting part. The San Antonio Spurs look to improve upon last year now that they have an All-Star who will actually play for the team. Can New Orleans do enough damage in the West to keep Anthony Davis, and how will Dallas send off Dirk Nowitzki? Hear all of this on this week's episode of The Atlantic Files! | 9/22/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #98: Southeast Division Predictions | Alex Fischbein and Mike Bash are back to continue the Looking Around the League series on The Atlantic Files. The next division on the docket is the Southeast Division. Last season, this division ended up being the worst one record-wise in the Eastern Conference, and the guys seem to be predicting much of the same this year. John Wall looks to have a healthy season for the Washington Wizards as they also acquire the services of Dwight Howard in place of Marcin Gortat. They have yet to get over the hump while the duo of Wall and Bradley Beal lead the team. Mike and Alex have some faith in them, but will it be enough for them to do some damage come playoff time? The Miami Heat and the Charlotte Hornets are both in a sort of limbo. Miami's best player hasn't re-signed but is also contemplating retirement. The Hornets best player most likely is going to be traded soon if this core can't get it done. Both teams do have the potential to be playoff teams, but the guys aren't sure about much else. Finally, there are the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks. Both are very young teams but at different stages of their rebuild. The Magic seem like they have been rebuilding for a decade, but after getting what they hope is a franchise big man again, they may finally break through soon and make the playoffs. Atlanta, on the other hand, will have a few years before playoffs are realistic. A new core through the draft and a new head coach will try to bring some hope to ATL. | 9/13/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #97: Central Division Predictions | The annual Year in Review series is now out of the way. We broke down each team in the Atlantic Division, but what about the rest of the competition that the Atlantic teams have to worry about? Which teams will be up against the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Philadelphia 76ers in the playoffs? Mike Bash and Alex Fischbein start off the Around the League Predictions series with the Central Division in the East. Colin Sexton and Kevin Love look to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers post-LeBron James. Both Mike and Alex believe it will be a struggle for them this coming season. James can't bail them out anymore, and they'll be relying on a rookie point guard. A finish near the bottom of the division looks to be on the docket, but Mike thinks they may have an outside shot at the eighth seed. Which brings us to the top dogs. The Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks will be fighting to see who takes the division crown. Indiana gave James and company a run for their money last season, and they brought back a lot of the same core. Milwaukee boasts a new coach and still has one of the best players in the league. Can they finally make it out of the first round this year? Finally, we have the two misfits of sorts. In Chicago, the Bulls are still in the midst of a rebuild as they added some more young talent in Jabari Parker and Wendell Carter Jr. Then there is the Detroit Pistons. A team that has a star-studded frontcourt, but not much else to write home about. They did add the coach of the year, Dwayne Casey, but a lot is left to wait and see about this team. | 9/7/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #96: Boston Celtics Year in Review | The final team of the Year in Review series is finally here! Mike Bash and Alex Fischbein wrap up the Atlantic Files Year in Review with the Boston Celtics. Joining the show this week is coach Brandon Mottola from Lecanto High School. Looking back at the expectations of last season, the guys all had higher hopes and expectations for the team. Quite frankly, it was hard not to have high hopes for a team with Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving alongside a plethora of young talent. Once Hayward went down, expectations dipped as well. The standouts from last season were quite obvious. Jaylen Brown made a big leap, Terry Rozier displayed some great skills when Irving went down, but of course all of the guys were thrilled with Jayson Tatum like the rest of the NBA world. That takes us to the current offseason. None of the guys thought that Boston had to make any moves. They already reached the Eastern Conference Finals without their two best players, so the only thing to do was wait for those two to get healthy. Brandon made a good point about the predicament that the Celtics are in: "I'm curious to see what happens with the third-string point guard. Will Shane Larkin be back in that role or will Brad Wanamaker be exactly what Brad Stevens needs? ... It really says something that the biggest complaint I have is about the third-string point guard. Now, the Celtics are primed to make another run to the Conference Finals, and even the NBA Finals. CleanThe Atlantic Files #95: New York Knicks Year in Review | This week on the Atlantic Files Podcast, Alex Fischbein and Mike Bash are joined by Gregg Sussman of the FNTSY Sports Network. The Year in Review series takes another stop in New York to rehash the season that was for the New York Knicks. Going into last season, the expectations were not high for the Knicks. The name of the game right now is to stay in the lottery and collect some assets until the Knicks are ready to compete. After Kristaps Porzingis got hurt, that is exactly what the team did, and Gregg said they met all expectations: "Well, they met all expectations, right? I thought they were pretty terrible and their best player tore his ACL." Of course, this season was not anything new for Knicks fans. However, they do have some promising days to look forward to. Kevin Knox and Mitchell Robinson are cause for hope. The guys love their potential, and Mike, specifically, thinks they will reach some big heights: "With Porzingis, Knox, and Robinson, I think the Knicks can have the top frontcourt in the entire Eastern Conference." Going into the newest season with a brand new head coach, a pair of promising rookies, and some under the radar free agency pickups, the Knicks are now looking to continue to build off of their current pool of young talent. Who will stay, who will be traded, and who will be drafted? Listen in as the guys touch on all of those questions and all things Knicks. | 8/15/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #94: Toronto Raptors Year in Review | The Toronto Raptors finished on top of the Eastern Conference last year. They possessed one of the best bench squads in the entire league and they were primed to take on a vulnerable Cavaliers team led by LeBron James. Mike and Alex didn't exactly have the same expectations to begin the season, but they both agree it took an interesting turn to cause the state of flux that they are now in. After getting swept by LeBron and company, Dwayne Casey was fired, and then the team decided to take a shot in the dark. DeMar DeRozan was shipped out and Kawhi Leonard entered Toronto for an audition season to see if the Raptors can convince him to stay in Canada rather than going to Los Angeles. Will Kawhi stay after this year or will Kawhi leave the Raptors high and dry like many superstars have? Mike and Alex give their thoughts on this past season, whether Kawhi will stay, who might make a leap this year, and more! | 8/9/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files #93: Philadelphia 76ers Year in Review | The Year in Review series is back on the Atlantic Files with the Philadelphia 76ers being the topic of discussion this week. Mike and Alex take a deeper dive into the Sixers season and pull out some of the reasons why they came up short in the playoffs, and what will allow them to compete for a championship in the years to come. Coming into the season, both Alex and Mike had low expectations for the Sixers. Then, Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid happened. Mike had a higher standard for the Sixers though as he believed in Simmons, "As long as Ben Simmons could give 75% of what everyone expected, I knew they'd be good" When trying to predict the kind of season they would have, and even about the LeBron sweepstakes, Alex was not as confident, "We needed to see if Embiid could be healthy for more than 35 games, and at that point we haven't seen if Simmons could score much against NBA talent. On top of that, you're putting all of your faith into guys who are 23 and under, so it seemed like a learning process type of season" Mike and Alex both agreed that versatile offensive players should be the main targets of the team. When the game came down to crunch time, they needed someone who could score at all levels of the court whether it be off the dribble, or off of a catch-and-shoot. Alex believes that will end up being Markelle Fultz as early as next season. | 8/3/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #92 | The annual "Year in Review" series is back yet again on the Atlantic Files! Alex and Mike are joined by Dennis Clausen(@den_clausen) of Rotoballer to talk about the past season that the Brooklyn Nets endured. To start things off, the guys talk about the overall season that the Nets had and whether or not it matched up with everyone's expectations of how the season should have gone. For the most part, everyone knew the kind of season the Nets were bound to have, so it didn't make it all that difficult to keep expectations very low. However, the name of the game for the Nets right now is to find the "diamond in the rough" type of player and collect assets. So, Mike, Alex, and Dennis give some insight into who they thought individually outperformed expectations and who did not. Jarrett Allen has looked very promising while some of the guys who did not, looking at you Timofey Mosgov, found their way out the door. Finally, the trio looks at how Brooklyn has been doing throughout this offseason and they give a small look ahead to the next season. | 7/27/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #91 | The Atlantic Division is on red alert! Kawhi Leonard has finally left San Antonio and has found a new home in Toronto. Will that be a temporary home or a permanent home, well the world may have to wait to find out. This week on the Atlantic Files, Mike and Alex take a look into the trade and more. The San Antonio Spurs received DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl, and a protected first-round pick in return for Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green. So, the Raptors improved if Leonard is healthy, but how did the Spurs end up? Alex seems to think there's no way Leonard stays in Toronto, but Mike has a more optimistic outlook for The Six. The Brooklyn Nets made more some moves to try out some new players. Shabazz Napier is the latest project for the Nets and both Mike and Alex are leaning towards liking the deal. Has Brooklyn made a bad deal yet when Sean Marks took over? Finally, the guys wrap up Summer League, give their final thoughts, and talk about the Basketball Society All-Summer League teams. Then, they give their thoughts on the rumors about Dennis Schroder getting shipped out of Atlanta for Carmelo Anthony. Mike and Alex both believe the Hawks could get someone better on any other team in the NBA, but the fit is also strange for Oklahoma City. | 7/18/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #90 | The Atlantic Files is back again with a brand new, permanent, co-host! Mike Bash, previously the Brooklyn Nets correspondent of the show, is the new co-host moving forward and we're glad to have him! This week's episode of The Atlantic Files features some of the best free agency signings, draft trade outcomes, and summer league standouts. When it comes to free agency, we all know LeBron James went to Los Angeles. Mike and Alex take a look at the best signings that were not named LeBron James. Also, who were some of the best underrated signings that not many fans have been talking about? During the NBA Draft, we all saw some trades go down. The Atlanta Hawks landed Trae Young, the Dallas Mavericks landed Luka Doncic, and the Phoenix Suns landed Mikal Bridges. So which trades were the best and which were the worst? Will Summer League tell us the answers, or will we have to wait to see who the real "winner" really is? | 7/12/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #89 | The 2018 NBA Draft has officially come and gone. Many dreams have come true, some are on the fence, and others are looking for some new ones. On the latest episode of the Atlantic Files, Alex gives his thoughts on how the Atlantic Division teams faired with their respective drafts. The Sixers were the most active on draft night. Selecting a hometown feel-good story and then trading him away not much later is a good way to upset the fans. How will Zhaire Smith fit though? The New York Knicks made some okay picks while their counterpart in the Big Apple made some moves of their own, trade-wise, while still getting a decent prospect. Finally, the Celtics had a perfect selection fall right into their lap. | 6/22/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #88 | On this week's episode of The Atlantic Files, Brooklyn Nets correspondent Mike Bash joins the show again. Mike and Alex rehash their thoughts about the quick sweep in the NBA Finals, LeBron James' potential landing spots, as well as starting the offseason discussion for the Sixers and the Nets. Brooklyn has some moves they can finally make. They have pieces that they could potentially move for some first-round picks, and they have a couple free agents they could sign. Does Mike think going after Aaron Gordon is a good idea for the Nets? Also, who would he trade to move up in this year's draft? The Sixers have one of their most important offseasons coming up. After unloading Bryan Colangelo, they now have to move forward and get ready for the draft and free agency. Who does Alex like at the tenth pick for Philly? Also, who could they potentially get in the later stages of the draft that could help right away? | 6/14/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #87 | The Atlantic Division is currently in a lull after the original breaking of the Bryan Colangelo news. So, this week's episode of the Atlantic Files is short and sweet. The Toronto Raptors are still looking for a coach to fill their vacancy. They interviewed Jerry Stackhouse, which we all could have guessed, but they also interviewed a candidate from Europe. Who else should they interview? Should all of the players on the current roster be up for grabs or should certain players be untouchable? Listen to hear what Alex has to think about where the Raptors should be headed. | 6/7/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

Send us all of your hottest takes only from your burner accounts, but you also have to live tweet something personal in the meantime. Just kidding. Don't actually do that. Anyway, Bryan Colangelo has been called out for having five burner accounts on Twitter. He ripped former and current players, live-tweeted his son's basketball game, and revealed sensitive information about injuries and more. Should he be fired even if he's found to not be tied to the accounts? Listen to hear Alex's thoughts! | 5/30/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #85 | The Conference Finals of the NBA Playoffs are both two games in and they're a little of what we expected mixed with something we did not expect. On the latest episode of the Atlantic Files, Alex takes a deeper look into the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers series. Multiple guys on the Celtics are making the leap that everyone in the organization hoped for. Al Horford is the man who really controls the team, but he does it in a cool and calm manner. How does Boston's style of play and personnel make it a matchup nightmare for Cleveland? In other news, the Toronto Raptors are deep into a coaching search. They seem to want to hire internally, but they would be wise to not only look there. Who else could they look at, and why wouldn't they look externally as well? | 5/18/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #84 | Episode 84 of The Atlantic Files is finally here! The NBA Playoffs have been roaring while I've been away. The Conference Semifinals are right around the corner, but we have the first two rounds to talk about. The Philadelphia 76ers took care of business against Miami but encountered a completely different story against Boston. What went right and wrong for Philly? Was this season still a success? The Toronto Raptors failed a lot of expectations. This was supposed to be their year, but they threw up a stinker against LeBron James and the Cavaliers. CleanThe Atlantic Files: #83 | The 2017-18 regular season has come to a close. That means, on the Atlantic Files, it's time to give out awards to the Atlantic Division! The Atlantic Division provided the Eastern Conference with the top three seeds in the playoffs this year. The Raptors, Sixers, and Celtics are all primed to either make some noise or put up an annoying fight with any team they come across. The Nets and Knicks, on the other hand, are ready to get cracking on another important offseason to see if they can set themselves up for the same kind of success in the future. On top of awards like MVP and Coach of the Year, we also take a look at which team is the most likely to win their next ring sooner. Who has the best bromance, and will a team from the Atlantic make the Finals this year? CleanThe Atlantic Files: #82 | The Atlantic Division, just like the rest of the NBA, has been hit hard by the injury bug. So, on the latest episode of the Atlantic Files, it's time to talk about what kind of impact these injuries will have. Kyrie Irving has been ruled out for the rest of the season and post-season. Brad Stevens has his work cut out for him, but the Coach of the Year candidate could lead them to at least a first-round win. However, could the Celtics go further than that without Irving and Gordon Hayward? Joel Embiid has been out after colliding with Markelle Fultz. The team isn't sure if he'll be back for the start of the playoffs or if he'll miss the whole first round. Can the Sixers even get through the first round without him? Finally, the Toronto Raptors have everything lined up in their favor. They have homecourt advantage, the Celtics are depleted, and LeBron's team looks the most vulnerable that it's ever been. Can they finally get over the hump? | 4/6/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #81 | The NBA Playoffs are right around the corner and the race is heating up. So, in episode 81 of The Atlantic Files, it's time to talk potential playoff matchups and specific qualities to watch for in each Atlantic team that could make the playoffs. First of all, the Toronto Raptors have already clinched a playoff spot. They are in the number one spot by a comfortable margin, and all that's left to do is stay afloat until the playoffs get here. When the playoffs do roll around, however, which version of the Raptors are we going to see? We have been treated to a brand new style of offense from this team. Maybe, this year, we'll be treated to a great playoff run as well. The Boston Celtics, like the Raptors, have also clinched a playoff spot. There's a decent sized gap between each seed in front of them and behind them. The injury bug is coming around to bite quite hard though. Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart have both had extended times on the bench, and with Gordon Hayward still out, that will prove to be huge if they can't return to 100% come playoff time. Finally, the last team in the Atlantic in the playoff race, the Philadelphia 76ers. They are arguably one of the most exciting teams in the league with the astounding young talent that has taken the floor. Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid look like they're equipped to help this team win their first playoff series since the Sixers took down a Derrick Rose-less Chicago Bulls team in 2011-12. Will all of these turnovers hold them back from doing so, or will they find a way to fight through the growing pains? | 3/21/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #80 | This week, on the Atlantic Files, Alex welcomes Mike Bossetti(@mikebosports) on to the show. Mike is the co-expert for Raptors Rapture of Fansided, and a host on the Raptors Rapture podcast. On this episode, Mike and Alex talk about all things Raptors. Since the Raptors are first place in the East and the bulk of basketball media aren't giving them a chance come playoff time, it was only right to shed some light on what the Raptors have been doing this year. Some people who don't watch the Raptors may have questions, and even some people that do watch the Raptors could be skeptical about the product on the floor. Mike and Alex answer questions like What kind of differences does this team possess that sets them apart from last season's team? Toronto has quite the easy schedule lately, is that a bad thing with the playoffs right around the corner? Should some of the bench mob take the starting positions over the current starters? Then, it's time to talk about the last third of the season in the Atlantic Division. Going through each team, Alex gives things to look for. The Sixers playoff aspirations will be put to the test. The Knicks are looking for their point guard of the future while the Nets are just looking for their future. Finally, the Celtics and Raptors are battling to see who will be the one to step up come playoff time. | 2/27/2018 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #78 | This week on the Atlantic Files, Alex Fischbein talks about the recent news that hit the Atlantic Division. There were some minor trades that took place at the trade deadline and some big-time injuries. In case you haven't heard, Kristaps Porzingis has torn his ACL and he will be out for the rest of the season. What does this mean for the Knicks and Coach Hornacek? They also fired off a trade to bring in Emmanuel Mudiay. So will he start Mudiay, Ntilikina, or Jarrett Jack? The Raptors made a small move at the deadline that not many people even noticed. They brought in Malachi Richardson who could be a nice depth piece for the bench. Hear Alex's thoughts on these moves and more! On top of All-Star talk, since there were deep dives into the Raptors, Knicks, and Nets, this week calls for a closer look into the Sixers. CleanThe Atlantic Files: #76 | You were probably expecting some kind of London joke or reference to start this out, weren't you? Well, you were wrong. Instead, in episode 76 of The Atlantic Files, Alex Fischbein talks about the New York Knicks and their recent struggles. The game notes make a return, but this time they are exposing some lazy play in the pick and roll at Madison Square Garden. What part do the three-point shooting and transition points play in the Knicks struggles? Also, there is some talk about the London game between the Celtics and the Sixers. Philadelphia wanted to show London how good they are at blowing leads. Plus, the Raptors came out of nowhere and destroyed the Cavaliers. CleanThe Atlantic Files: #75 | Mike Bash, the Atlantic Files Nets Correspondent, joins the show again this week. This time, Alex and Mike talk about some of the up-and-coming Nets while D'Angelo Russell is still out and Jahlil Okafor is still working back into game shape. Should the Nets trade Spencer Dinwiddie? He's been the topic of trade discussions amongst fans, but could he help the team more by signing long-term? Sean Marks has been making some great decisions in signings, but he's also been great at drafting as well. Jarrett Allen and Caris LeVert are testaments to that drafting resume. Also, how will Jahlil Okafor and D'Angelo Russell coexist? Will they end up being the duo that Brooklyn hopes for, or will it crash and burn? CleanThe Atlantic Files: #74 | Happy holidays everyone! As the yearly tradition continues, an episode of The Atlantic Files had to be released on Christmas Eve. This year, Alex talks about the Toronto Raptors and their impressive 10-1 record in December so far. After tons of replayed game film, it’s clear to see who the primary driver of their success really is, and what they can do to improve on their past success. Following the Christmas theme, Alex put on his Santa hat and decided to give out some gifts. Each team in the Atlantic could use a gift, but if they could only get one, what would it be? Finally, in the newest Out of Bounds segment, Alex gave his thoughts on putting together furniture that comes in a box. The reason these episodes have been so spaced out is that he’s dying underneath all of the instruction manuals and parts to couches and TV stands. | 12/28/2017 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #73 | Episode 73 of The Atlantic Files is fresh off the digital press. This week, Alex touches on some of the topics that Brett Brown talked about on the Woj Pod. Those include the relationship between Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, the difference in Markelle Fultz's recovery, and Ben Simmons' mindset. Then, in case you haven't heard already, Jahlil Okafor has finally been traded away from Philadelphia. So, that means we have to talk about how Okafor could potentially help or hurt the Nets. CleanThe Atlantic Files: #72 | On Episode 72 of The Atlantic Files, Mike Bash joins Alex Fischbein to talk about the young Brooklyn Nets. Last time Mike joined the show, he foretold the great play of Spencer Dinwiddie. This week, he talks about Dinwiddie's impact as well as offers another player who could do the same thing going forward. What kind of timeline are the Nets on though? How will they compare with Ben Simmons and the Sixers in the future? What would Ben Simmons play like if he had a jumper? CleanThe Atlantic Files: #71 | Episode 71 of the Atlantic Files is here to talk about the city that the Drake guy is from. Yes, that city. The one with the team named after dinosaurs. The Raptors, while having one of the more interesting names, are one of the more boring teams in the Atlantic Division. They may be second place in the division and one of the perennial playoff contenders, but in terms of this division, they are boring. OG Anunoby has been an under the radar player in Toronto. He has turned into one of their better defenders, and a huge injection of energy into the starting lineup. Who else helps this team that is not named Kyle Lowry or DeMar DeRozan? The New York Knicks are breaking through many expectations set for them this season. The leader of that battering ram has been the unicorn, Kristaps Porzingis. How bad are they on the road compared to at home though? Finally, the Philadelphia 76ers have also been a fun and exciting team. Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid have been better than anyone expected at this point. Why are people asking for Brett Brown to be fired then? CleanThe Atlantic Files: #70 | Episode 70 of The Atlantic Files is here and we're ready to talk about the Boston Celtics. That's the Eastern Conference-leading Boston Celtics. Kyrie Irving's team that is currently doing better than LeBron's team. In this episode, we go over the differences in Kyrie's game and leadership abilities from last season compared to this season. Boston has had some huge differences at the team level as well, and they all stem from the differences in rebounding. Plus, we talk about the growth of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. Last but not least, there is some bonus information on the huge night that Joel Embiid cashed in. Enjoy! | 11/18/2017 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #69 | In case you haven't listened to the last episode of The Atlantic Files. Our Nets correspondent, Mike Bash, talked about how Brooklyn needs to start Spencer Dinwiddie. Well, he's been playing extremely well lately, and it's time to give that even further thought. Bryan Colangelo has decided to play some sort of game with Jahlil Okafor as the main piece. Okafor requested a buyout, but Colangelo seems to think he can make a trade for some sort of value. Whether this is true or not, Colangelo needs to get a deal done so that he's not playing with this young man's career. Finally, in the out of bounds segment, we have some spicy talk. No, not that kind of spicy talk, get your mind out of the gutter. It's hot wing talk! | 11/4/2017 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #68 | D'Angelo Russell and the Brooklyn Nets have been red hot on offense to start the season. So, it's only right that we talk some Nets and bring in the new Atlantic Files' Nets correspondent, Mike Bash, from The Underdog Sports. Mike and I go over the off-season where Brooklyn set the tone for what their future could look like. Then, we talk about the kind of impact that the Jeremy Lin injury could have on the team. Thrown in between are memories of the New Jersey Nets, talk about Reggie Evans, and more. To round out this week's episode, the Philadelphia 76ers' training staff needs to be roasted again. Markelle Fultz had to get his shoulder drained and reportedly is unable to lift his arm enough to shoot a ball. He has been playing through pain, and the trainers have seemingly failed yet again. | 10/24/2017 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #67 | The new NBA season is finally ready to tipoff! Obviously, this means we need to predict every single thing that will happen this season, and how the Atlantic Division will fare against the rest of the league. Okay, we might not predict how many times Drake gets hype at a Raptors game, but we do have a lot of predictions. Also, as mentioned last week, the new segment, "Out of Bounds," makes its debut. After all of the regular season predictions, it's time to talk a little about the love of sports and the playing field that they are all on. CleanThe Atlantic Files: #66 | Episode 66 of The Atlantic Files talks about Jay Z curses, Beyonce curses, and a little bit of basketball. Okay, that may be a little bit of an exaggeration when I say "little bit" of basketball, but there is some curse talk! Preseason basketball has begun, so that means it's time to blow some things out of proportion and talk about how teams are faring so far. Brooklyn is looking like the greatest team since sliced bread, and the New York Knicks are...well...the Knicks. Joel Embiid signed a massive contract extension and it's sending so many people into a frenzy because they just can't believe how he's getting paid so much money for 30 games. Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz, however, are showing that they are healthy and they're ready to ball this season. Fultz' shooting form though, needs some work. CleanThe Atlantic Files: #65 | Episode 65 of The Atlantic Files is fresh off the press! This week, we have yet another trade to talk about, some weird signings in Philly, and Joel Embiid's injury situation. First things first, Carmelo Anthony, aka Hoodie Melo, is officially out of New York! Oklahoma City now has a big three that doesn't contain Kevin Durant nor James Harden. How will OKC fare with the new trio of Westbrook, George, and Anthony? What is the New York Knicks identity now? Also, The Sixers signed both Kris Humphries and Emeka Okafor. Not sure if this is a veteran presence move, or they just wanted another Okafor. Then, Joel Embiid is still not cleared to play 5-on-5, so could there be any reasons other than just the injury that is holding him back? | 9/25/2017 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #64 | The new and improved version of the Atlantic Files is here. Well, the new and improved look anyway. Finally, the fall is approaching quicker, and the season will be here soon enough. Until then, we have some rule changes, ranks, and interesting stats to talk about. Adam Silver and the owners across the league are going to talk about lottery reform yet again. Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report that they will be trying to lessen the chances of the worst team to receive the top pick in the draft. Sounds crazy when you think about it, right? The worst team has a worse chance of getting better while the mediocre teams have a better chance? Also, there has been plenty of talk about Carmelo Anthony's rank in the NBA these days. Some of these rankings are straight out of left field while others are at least respectable. Ours, here at Basketball Society, is definitely the best though. However, we need to address the Carmelo situation in the episode below. | 9/15/2017 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #63 | An emergency pod is here! Kyrie Irving has officially been dealt to the Boston Celtics and we have to talk about it. We really don't get to see two star players swap teams every day. Sure we've seen our fair share leave in free agency, but man, this is something else. Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and the Brooklyn Nets 2018 first round pick are all taking a road trip over to Cleveland. That's right, not just Isaiah Thomas is finding a new home in Ohio. LeBron James gets himself someone to help him out on defense, and the Cavaliers get a little bit of insurance if LeBron decides to leave next season. Really, this is a win-win for the Cavs and LeBron. Who exactly won the trade though? Listen to the full episode below to find out! | 8/22/2017 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #62 | This week on the Atlantic Files, it's time to breakdown some of the new schedules that were released just earlier this week. Which teams have the most nationally televised games? Which Atlantic games should be the highlights of the season looking forward? Boston's new look team will be in the forefront of the Atlantic Division, and the NBA seems to want them to be the face of the division while Toronto and Philadelphia try to take that away. We all know it will be a while before we see the Brooklyn Nets getting their fair share of nationally televised games. For the Knicks, we're going to have to wait so we can see if Carmelo Anthony is staying or going to decide whether they deserve the amount of televised games they currently own. | 8/19/2017 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #61 | The Atlantic Division is hitting its quiet time during the off-season. The Kyrie Irving talk has died down since a trade has not been found yet. However, Joel Embiid was not cleared for five-on-five basketball, and Isaiah Thomas said that he deserves to get that lucrative max contract. So, after getting the little bit of news over with, it's time for an Atlantic Division history lesson. We go over some of the best players for each franchise in the Atlantic Division. Also, we talk about the teams that grabbed the most wins in a season for each franchise, and who were the main contributors for each team. Yes, we do talk about basketball in the old days compared to the modern day. Get over it, and just include Wilt Chamberlain in the GOAT conversation already. | 8/7/2017 | Free | View in iTunes |

CleanThe Atlantic Files: #60 | Now that the Year in Review series is over, The Atlantic Files is back with a new episode on the latest news coming out of the Atlantic Division. The Knicks may be the second best team in New York now, but we have to wait and see what Cleveland decides to do with Kyrie Irving. Toronto and Brooklyn both made some moves, one of them with each other, but are they the correct ones? For over a season, I have been screaming on these podcasts for the Raptors to trade DeMarre Carroll. Finally. the day has come, and the Raptors did not stop there. They went out and got his perfect replacement as well. Then, the Brooklyn Nets capitalized on a shaky season from Allen Crabbe and acquired him in a trade with Portland.
