Every episode Edward Adams, Maria Jackson, and Sharronda Williams discuss all things cinematic through a Black cultural perspective. Ed is a veteran entertainment reporter; prolific writer, and mentor who brings his passion, knowledge, and humor to the mic. Sharronda is the Editor in Chief at PayorWait.com and producer of her own video reviews on her 'Pay or Wait' YouTube channel. Her no nonsense take on movies is honest, and always lively. The B-Roll Podcast... one of my favorite new podcasts!
Was introduced to The B-Roll podcast through Maria, who has been a good social media friend for years now. While there are podcasts that discusses cinema in detail, what I love about this particular podcast is discussion of cinema (what's good and what's problematic) is from a Black perspective, something that's refreshing to hear. The chemistry and interraction between Maria, Sharronda and Edward is great; in large part because of the different perspectives that each person provides. I love the mixture of funny and serious moments that flow throughout each episode. In short,The B-Roll Podcast will make you laugh and make you think as well. Really good podcast that I thoroughly enjoy, I now subscribe to, and hope others start to check out
