Wow! My new favorite!

Just discovered this podcast, and I have a new favorite. Fantastic and thoughtful commentary on a variety of local/state issues that normally don't get attention in depth. Just listened to Dawn Zimmer, Hoboken Mayor episode. Great candid view inside that office. This one's a keeper.

Thoughtful and enlightening

Paul does a great job bringing his knowledge of NJ life to his interviewees. He’s able to bring out specifics issues (particularly among the political class) since he understands what goes on behind the curtains. He has a natural curiosity that delves past the superficial. A very useful addition to our discussion of public issues and the people of the state.

Love the Backgrounder!!

Great topics! Great interviews! Who gets Anna Quindlen for an hour?! Awesome exchange. And really appreciate how you delve in depth into complicated public issues (reform of urban education, just to name one!) with probing questions and substantive discussions. Keep'em coming.
