Talking about Bible stories is often fraught with scholarly nerd alerts about ancient linguistics and inaccessible theological discussions centered around hermeneutics. But what if there was a way to use your pop culture literacy to enhance your biblical literacy. What if you could recap the Bible like you recapped your favorite TV show? Welcome to the Bible Binge hosted by Knox McCoy and Jamie Golden of The Popcast.

So good 🙌🏼

Knox & Jamie have been testing this out on their Patreon supporters and it’s great!! A super fun take on Bible stories and a thoroughly enjoyable way to get a lil Jesus in your life. (They are so entertaining I think even non-Jesus people will enjoy this) 😊

So entertaining!!

Knox and Jamie are phenomenal at what they do: telling and analyzing stories in a way that’s hilariously relatable to all of us! They’ve developed their expertise in recapping on their other show The Popcast. And now they’re graciously sharing their talents with us on a subject that’s slightly more edifying than Bachelor recaps, but no less entertaining!

The Bible with a pop culture spin? WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?!

The Bible with a pop culture spin? WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?! I have cry-laughed over Jamie and Knox's commentary, while also being sincerely moved by some of their personal takeaways. This podcast brings a little levity (and insight!) to some of those "Huh?" moments in the Bible. And I love that they end it with "a gentle rebuke" of their hiliarous, but maybe not Biblically-correct opnions, from a (FEMALE!) Bible scholar. Knocking it out of the park, as usual.
