A daily bible reading from the New English Translation, by Michael Lee

Customer Reviews

Excellent use of music and passionate reading

These bilble reading are excellent because: 1) They use intro and ending music which adds to the mood. 2) The person reading the passages understands there meaning so he uses the proper inflection, accent, emotion, etc. that really makes the meaning jump off the page.

Michael Lee is making good use of all his talents

I appreciate Michael Lee's voice as a narrator and his gift as a musican and composer. It's hard to tell this is a one man show, it sounds as good as any network, big budget radio show. I like to listen to these chapters in my patrol car and it helps bring some perspective to my day in that not everything is a crisis and those things that are can sure use the Wisdom of Scripture. From James 1:5 "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." Thank you Mr. Lee for a wonderful ministry. If I ever get a new computer I'd love to join - we'll see I suppose.

The Age we live in could have only been imagined even 20 years ago - consider having access to the Scriptures via Podcast, available any hour or minute, and to be heard even in the dark. As long as there is battery-life, there is no limit to how often, or how much one can listen to! My mind goes back throughout History, and I see Monks leaning over manuscripts, making copies - and Illuminating the pages - that could be read by few, and now we are right here with those same words with the press of our Select Button - don't take the opportunity for granted. This is definitely worth listening to :o)
