Description

This conversational show honestly explores the highs and lows of living in a foreign culture. Great for expats and immigrants wanting company or advice, former expats looking to reminisce with someone who gets it, and travel lovers planning their next adventure. Hosted and edited by Public Radio's Katy Sewall (former expat, Seattle) and writer Tiffany Parks (current expat, Rome, Italy).

Customer Reviews

Great podcast

When Katy announced she was leaving KUOW, I sent her a note of congratulations. She emailed me that she would be doing a project like this, so I signed up. Really enjoying listening to the episodes. It's not a travel guide to Rome, but rather a personal perspective on what it's like to live in a foreign country for a year. I will be sorry when her year is up!

Unique look

I love the different look at life through this lens. We need more exposure to views from overseas - these stories are wonderful.

Gem podcast

So great! I wish I had discovered this before my last two trips to Italy. These two are easy to listen to - I wish I could meet them on my next Italy trip!
