Becoming a mama often leads us as women to a threshold in life we hadn’t known before. Having kids of our own, we often realize that there's a lot of momentum to the emotional and behavioral patterns going in our lives that we’ve inherited and learned in early life, as girls and women from a particular time in history and culture. We may have a lot of emotional and behavioral reactivity in our lives that we want to break free from to have a new experience of ourselves. If you’re here, it’s because you know that feeling of wanting a new experience of yourself in your life! Beyond the challenges we face to parent in ways we may not have been parented, and the presence at times of conflicting feelings, resentment, guilt, shame, frustration and overwhelm, there is a deep love for our children that wants to be free to express itself fully. There's a desire for more ease and joy and connection, too. It’s sometimes a desire bold as love that has the power to break the momentum of the past to make way for the new. This podcast is a source of education, inspiration, and perspective-shifting reflection to help point you in the direction you want to go and add fuel to your desire to go there.
